Move on from Armstead and ward. This year was the exception, not the rule. They stunk and were hurt every year but this one. Base their future off of those, not the one season they managed to be healthy and look good because of their supporting cast.
Not sure what poster above is thinking you HAVE to sign a wideout. Hurd could be a zero. Taylor is done. Sanders a year older. Deebo is the only proven guy. They need a playmaker. They have for years.
Draft a corner or offensive line. Maybe safety?
Let Sherman play next year then move on. He looked bad last night but they had him in man against guys that were too fast.

The plan is just to get better in our weakest positions. Probably need to find a new CB and a speedy WR. Look to address the anticipated departure of Arik.
This one hurts but at least I know we are on the right path with coach and GM.
To those saying we need a new QB should just stop watching the 49ers. We finally found our franchise QB and you guys want to get rid of him. The fairweatherness is showing.

I think Moore will be okay at safety if Ward leaves. Zero confidence in Akhello. Sherman is probably washed. And our Interior OL is still s**t in pass pro. Could go either way there

I don't expect much out of the 2020 draft with only 5 picks and no 2nd, 3rd or 4th. I wouldn't be surprised if we slip back and fall short of the playoffs since it happens to so many teams after a SB loss. It's hard to overcome that mentally. Then throw in a weak draft and the fact that we aren't going to sneak up on anyone next year and we could easily fall back to 9-7 or 10-6 which is about what I was hoping for this year.
We got off to a great start with an easy early schedule and that momentum carried us through the entire season. It won't be so easy next year.

10-6 would be great for a SB hangover season. I'm thinking much lower. And I worry that Jimmy put some bad tape out there that defenses will key in on and adjust to him.

It's never easy, its year to year. Every team goes through changes, as long as we keep the core together we will be competitive to years to come. In Kyle and John I trust

I was not at all too happy with the team as a whole in that 4th qtr last night, however it was everyone. The line has to knock those guys getting their hands up on the line off balance. Jimmy has to hit that deep ball and not throw that pick. Shanahan has to call a better game, ECT ECT ECT.
The D can not blow the coverage on a team like this and miss soooo many tackles. Also 3rd and 15? Unacceptable.
However those on here saying we need a new QB are f**kin retards and I don't care if your offended. I don't give a s**t about your feelings.

I think it's very likely we trade back with our 1st and add a few extra picks. It's not necessarily a problem.

Find some 6.6 wide receivers so Jimmy won't over throw them.
Seriously though, we'll be back next season to finish our business

On defense, we need CB. Sherman another year older, and WitheringSpoon doesn't have the mental makeup to be a good CB. Would like to keep AA on the Dline, but if he's too high a price in FA, I think we can do without him also.
On offense, we need an eventual replacement for Staley, although Brunskill could already be the guy. And maybe a younger Guard.
Quicker better receivers for Jimmy. With today's NFL rules, speed kills.

Not gonna dog Sherm, can't hold Mahomes an entire game. It's on the offense to make plays when Mahomes makes plays. They didn't do it.
