Team needs
CB
OL - 2 maybe 3
S
I would spend all 4 picks on CB and OL and hope we pull a Greenlaw/Kittle like steal in the late rounds to net 2 starters (one from the first round and one from the late rounds).
Basically there is no margin for error in drafting. Last year's draft was great but the previous two were not, so who knows which way the next will go.
I would sign a FA at S and let Ward and AA walk. I would use some of the remaining cap to sign one quality OL.

Not gonna dog Sherm, can't hold Mahomes an entire game. It's on the offense to make plays when Mahomes makes plays. They didn't do it.

Yes, but why were they 30 seconds. Because Kyle didn't trust Jimmy to make throws, thus the "prevent offense" happened.

I think we should bring Sanders back.
I think we could get by with the following at WR
Sanders
Hurd
Deebo
Bourne
Taylor (depending on if he's healthy)
James or Pettis (if Dante can get his head out of his ass)
Move on from Goodwin. There's really not much in free agency, with Amari Cooper being the only real option.
Sherman should honestly look into moving to safety. It'll help to negate the speed factor that he lacks (and he never was real fast to begin with).
I'd let Ward walk, and focus on Kittle and Buckner's extension and find a way to get Armstead back.
Here's a look at our free agents going into the offseason.
Wide outs are good. They can be elite as a group if Hurd is healthy the guy is a beast. With Kittle only 4 more can play so the group is good.
Agree with Goodwin, Sherman, Ward, Kittle, and Buckner.

You really want Akhello back there?
No. Just think he should restructure and we need to draft a CB in the first round.

sure looked that way right before half. first red flag then the dam broke late in the game.

How are our receivers elite? Sanders is on the downside of his career, he's still good though. I don't think he's a number one guy.
Deebo is the ultimate gadget guy and an excellent football player, but is he a "real" wide receiver? Remains to be seen.
Bourne can make touch catches but drops a lot, pretty mediocre football player.
Hurd? Never played
Taylor? You can't be serious
Pettis? Garbage
James? Again, you can't be serious
I think we have an ok group, definitely not potentially elite.

Bring back Armstead, Sanders and all of our producing ERFA & RFAs. (this can easily be done contrary to the narrative).
Trade back out of the 1st to pick up a mid/late 3rd. Take a S and WR.
Extend Kittle, Buckner (this will use 2021 money, not 2020).
This doesn't have to be a hard offseason guys. We can afford the key FAs. We have the best overall roster in the NFL. Let's stop pretending like this is a major overhaul. This is about continuity.

The ideal plan:
1. Extend Lynch and Shanny
2. Give pay raises to the front office staff tied to talent evaluation: Peters and Mayhew
3. Restructure and/or extend McKinnon, Jimmy, Kwon, Ford, and Sherman to help the cap.
4. Resign Ward, Garland, Moore, Day, and Blair.
5. Resign Armstead and Sanders if the price is reasonable
6. Extend Kittle and Buckner
Agree. And if Jimmy doesn't want to restructure after this crap, then find another solution. There are plenty of Matt Schaubs out there that Kyle can scheme up and make them look like fools gold

....unreal.
This team doesn't even sniff the playoffs without Jimmy. Jimmy's a Top 5 QB and the fans here want him gone, despite the fact that he outplayed Captain Smirk (which isn't saying much, since Captain Smirk was absolute garbage and was the worst SB MVP in the history of the event. Tyreek Hill was the clear MVP, and anyone who says otherwise shouldn't even be allowed to have an opinion).
I suggest you go back and watch the Saints game and then tell me about how you want a new QB. The two QBs in that game are what REAL QBs look like. Not gimmick crap like the Ravens' RB under center, which will be completely shut down for good next year after defensive coordinators catch up.
The one bright spot about this game is, despite the loss, Jimmy has now played in a Super Bowl. And he has played in what was potentially a game winning drive in a SB. There is no bigger moment in the game than that. He had 4 4th quarter game winning drives this year (to lead the league), and now he can relax with all the experience he has now gained.
What the team needs to be careful of is not overpaying all these defensive linemen. The defense was nothing special after the 7th game this year, with the exception of the Packers MNF game and the divisional playoff game vs. MIN. I see no reason to commit so much money to a unit that is allowing 24+ points in most games the second half of the year.
Bosa and Warner are the cornerstones of the defense. The rest has to be viewed as replaceable.
And Kwon Alexander can GTFO. He makes like 1-2 plays per game and then misses 4 tackles, plus is in the wrong gaps on running plays. Get another fast linebacker for way cheaper. He's going to count $16 million against the cap in 2 years if they keep him. Laughable.

I'm sure it was a good post, but I stopped reading after Jimmy being a top 5 quarterback.
