Blame game : what was the defining moment of our loss ?

Was at the game.
The question options reflects what stood out for me
The blown coverage was a stinger but in the end Kyle not running down their throat in the 4th was the crucial one you could feel the momentum swing in the stadium
3-15

The 3rd and 15 was more than just blown coverage because the pass rush didn't get home neither. I will say again, we should have blitzed more and sent 5. But, once he made that play, it was the beginning of the end. Again, to me it was due to the lack of blitzing. He was able to move the chains at will. Our secondary were playing so off which allowed them to make big gains on every down to move the chains. We couldn't make a stop to save our lives.
Yes.

Can't do the poll, for me I would have to pick multiple reasons.

This. I understand playing off b/c of their speed but you gotta send some pressure to go with that. Ward did a horrible f**king job. I mean he was 15 yards off. He could've easily made a play on the ball if he were anywhere near Hill.

Not sure why the Jimmy G missed pass to Sanders isn't on this poll

Going into the 4th with a lead. I called it as my biggest worry and I was right. Saleh couldn't stop a little league team in the 4th with his predictable non creative bend and break defense. Time and Time again and if it wasn't for Greenlaw in Seattle we probably wouldn't have even been here. He's garbage without Bosa.

Agreed. I can't pinpoint just one thing.

This
The missed offside for me cause that's when I knew they wanted late game drama.
1. Kyles playcallin
2. The blown coverage on Hill

No debate
Not in shanahan at all.

Jimmy going 3/11 at the end really didn't help any

O-lines failure to maintain running lanes in the 4th hurt

Jimmy missing a wide open Kittle which could've been a huge gain maybe a td but settling for a FG hurt too

It came down to 3 plays and none of those were on Shanny. Neither Saleh or Kyle we're the ones who lost and blew coverage on Hill. Nor did Kyle miss an open Sanders.
Has to be on Jimmy. He had opportunities and he blew it. Who here believes Jimmy makes that throw to hill on 3rd and 15 like mahomes did?

If we won would have jimmy deserved the credit.
Shanahan's playcalling doesn't bother me in the least. Every single weekend during the season we here fans b***h and moan about coaches being conservative and "playing not to lose". I have no problem with him going for the jugular.

What are today's headlines if Garoppolo doesn't overthrow Sanders in the 4th quarter?
