Blame game : what was the defining moment of our loss ?

Only scoring 20 points against an average chiefs D is why we lost. The Texans actually scored more in one quarter again KC than we did through an entire game.

Kyle also looked nervous all game like he was scared of losing. Playing it safe just before halftime really set the tone for the game imo.

Lastly, Jimmy G doesn't really seem too impressive unless Kyle schemes receivers wide open.

I'm devastated right now
I had a sickening feeling when I saw lynch in the press box saying time out. We could have put this game out if reach but shanahan pissed his pants to such a degree...I cannot even comprehend how it happened. He told the world he was more concerned about giving the chiefs a possession than he was taking the lead just before halftime.
Jimmy lost a year and it showed up big time this game.
Running the ball worked all DAY ALL GAME ALL SEASON. why t F did you stop doing it with the two score lead?!!!!

Forcing Jimmy to throw nonstop caused incompletions and 3 and outs. IDK if the media bs got to Kyle but throwing the ball nonstop with the lead cost the niners the SIXTH F'N RING.
and not taking Timeouts at all ?

you could've taken TOs when Mehhomes had the ball doing the hurry up , if anything to AT LEAST stop the momentum and give the defense rest.

He almost took all THREE TOs with him to the halftime show. TIGHTEN THE PLAYOFF PLAYCALLING UP KYLE.
The defense collapsed. Sure, you can lay the blame on the offense. But it's the D that allowed all of those 4th quarter points.

Yeah theres no grief in golf
When its comes to playoff games and Super Bowl, when it's a close game, its about who makes more clutch plays in 4th quarter. Mahomes made plays. 49ers had shots, but didn't get it done.

6.4 yards per carry and we went away from the run in the 2nd half.

I am not one to make excuses but the D, specifically our Dline was being held the entire game. It was blatantly obvious the last 15-20 minutes of the game. It helped the chiefs extend drives precisely when they needed it most and gave them the chances they needed. Yeah, they came through, but they shouldn't have had those opportunities in the first place.
Hard to point to any one thing. The whole team just kinda s**t the bed in the last 10 minutes.
I literally cant deal with pro football anymore. Its too emotionally draining for me. l had multiple panic attacks last night and couldn't sleep due to replaying us all but having Lombardi # 6 before the wheels came off.

Its easier rooting for a bad team.

I can't imagine it being as bad as losing two Superbowls
The first field goal.

They somehow thought they could kick fgs and beat the chiefs...

Go watch the film. Jimmy had layup passes that could have put this game out of reach.
