No way should they have cancelled the party. I think it could be a very important part of the healing process, depending on how it's handled, and it's better to get that started sooner rather than later. No reason they can't start setting goals and making commitments for the upcoming season. Some players also won't be here next season so let them celebrate what was good about the year, not just the success on the field, but the friendships and memories they've made.

This is why the new generation is soft, throwing a party to celebrate a loss? Get out of here! Everyone gets a participation award! There is NOTHING to celebrate after choking away a super bowl!

So? A few seconds of video clips shows what? f**k all. People put on brave faces all the time, they go out to avoid being alone or wallowing in self pity, even if it's just to escape the pain for a moment.

It was a tough lost for the fans too. I wanted to throw a self-pity party too. But had to work.

They're human beings not automatons, you know. I get the feeling some of you think they should all committed ritual suicide for not winning the game yesterday. Better to let them get the loss out of their heads for a few hours and enjoy each others company than to be curled up in the corner about it. Plenty of time to work at getting a championship in 2020 in the months ahead.

LOL I have posted repeatedly that York needs to extend Shanny. He had a bad game and jimmy didn't play well in the fourth, but I support him.

Not being happy with the post party does not equate with my support for them in the mid and long term

I hope they had as much fun as possible after having a crushing loss like that. Gave us fans a hell of a ride this year and plenty of hope for the future.
