Young coach that has steadily been working his way up in the NFL. Started coaching at the high school level in 2005, worked up to the college level with New Mexico State and was coaching on the Jaguars staff starting in 2013 where he ended up later working with Robert Saleh for three years.

I doubt anyone here has a clue but he has experience working in a similar scheme in Jacksonville, working under Gus Bradley with Saleh there and having spent the past couple of years under Sean McDermott in Buffalo so he seems to have a pretty good foundation.
Bills certainly had good performance from their DL this past season.
Credit to DL coach Bill Teerlinck & assistant DL coach Aaron Whitecotton for the job they've done this season. Oliver is playing really well. Lawson/Phillips having good years too. This staff has really done a nice job maximizing what they have on the OL/DL.

Forklift bull-rush for the high-quality sack from Jordan Phillips vs. Martin. Phillips is playing the best I've ever seen from him this season. pic.twitter.com/NK1ZVLfOY2

Wish we had the back view of this from Oliver's perspective but this is an incredible play from him to defeat this Martin/Collins double.

Pad level, play strength, and technique are just phenomenal here. Stones Martin & wraps up Pollard 👀 pic.twitter.com/Rkc8LSjj11
Oliver beat Collins on the backside earlier, so watch how Collins responds having to make the same block again later. Hockey fight snatch gets Oliver on the ground. Lawson makes a great play on the frontside to beat Tyron & blow the play up pic.twitter.com/xcqDwwstF6
