Maybe Miami is doing a complete makeover after sucking for so long. They may figure the time is right to bring in a new staff since they have 14 draft picks including 3 number ones and 2 number twos. They also have about $90 million in cap space. You can really reshape your team with that kind of ammunition.

Dude is just a good coach period. Switched to coaching receivers for a few seasons. He did relatively well on that then this season switched back to the defense midseason as the defacto defensive coordinator and there was immediate improvement on that side of the ball.

I think DL coach or ILB coach would have the inside track for the DC gig if Saleh leaves. I'd bet money on Ryans taking that role.
