Only really read up on Kongbo, and didn't find anything particular impressive or anything that led me to believe he'll challenge for a spot.

Yeah, I try to pay attention a tad more to these unknowns given the success we've had with UDFA and late round picks esp. as the roster gets tighter and with a few key loses.

Somebody on the DL has to step up. Taylor, Street, Givens, Moore....

If Day comes back on a low end deal, that's a signal that the other guys aren't ready.

The team needs ~$5m cap space to sign the two first-rounders - that's give 53 players signed (our top-51 cutoff is at 750k, the late-round rookies are paid less). The leftover $5m is accounted for by the PUP/IR and practice squad.

The following non-essential players could be cut/traded with no or low dead money hit:
TColeman, Goodwin, Bourne , Breida - totals $15m, not accounting for replacements.

There's some further reserve that requires restructuring the contracts of Garoppolo ($15M), Ford ($10m), or Staley ($5m).

Rollins and Holland aren't on the roster, missing Benjamin on the WR depth chart, also I'd have Walker ahead of Flannigan-Fowles(who actually was listed as a SLB in camp last year), since he started 11 games over Hassan Reddick in 2019.

Usual inactives would be Beathard(Honestly don't know why I have him, just a feeling Shanny keeps 3 QBs again, hoping I'm wrong, and we keep an extra LB or DL), Rookie WR depending on where he's picked, Rookie OL, Reed, the 5th would be the hardest to choose, either Wilson/McKinnon or a DL.

Did they end up cutting them? Just curious.

Those 2 were last August signings, not at end of the 2019 season.
