I don't understand how Kamara got a significantly bigger contract than Dalvin Cook. I know the details of the contract is always the key, not the initial number, but still, I take Cook slightly over Kamara. In both cases, the team has the leverage. Both RBs are entering their 4th season. Kamara had a down year last season. How does Kamara get new-money average that is 2nd behind only McCaffrey?

Kamara: 5 year, $75,000,000; 34,333,333 guaranteed,
Cook: 5 year, $62,500,000; 28,000,000 guaranteed

Kamara can catch the ball as well.

Upgrade? Sherman, Mosley, k Williams, Witherspoon, Verrett. That is a good group. I know there are lots of expiring contracts, but it is what it is. The team will address that this off season one way or the other.

I can see them drafting one after they draft another DLineman in the first.

The DB's are kind of like the OLinemen in this system, ShanaLynch doesn't like drafting DB's higher than 3rd.

Truth.

Let's be real... as nice as Sherman has been .. lol he was exposed in the playoffs and SB. Dude is about done.

Verrett?? lol come on. Maybe good in madden but he can't even Stay on the field. He has yet to contribute.

Spoon??? What has he done?? I'm still waiting.

Mosley has shown flashes yes. Definitely chooses the worst time to play one of his worst games last year. We shall see what more he can do.

Williams: he's a stud in the slot game. One of the best here.

Overall bud we lack a lot in this area

Sherman was 2nd team all pro last year, Mosley was solid and young and should only get better, and K Williams is a stud. These 3 as our top 3CBs, more than a solid unit.

Agreed, plus Hill, Hardman, and the other speedy WRs the Chiefs have would beat any CBs or Safeties. Too much speed. I'm not sold on Verrett being healthy, hoping Ahkello can step up. I hope they can keep Sherm and K'Waun in the offseason, I'm confident they will along with Trent and Juice.

I already factor that in. It is not like Cook isn't a threat as a receiver.

So how many more years does Sherm have?? Come on. Yes he was 2nd team all pro but his age has shown up a lot.
Mosley was solid at times. If he was solid then he'd lock down that starting spot for the remainder of the year and this year. The fact that he cannot beat our Spoon in camp tells me all I need to know.... he's inconsistent.

The team is negotiating a contract extension with Sherman. Witherspoon was more than solid in the beginning of last season, so it is possible he is having a solid camp and is seriously competing with Mosley. Your assumptions are not facts, hope you know that.

Last season you could have said the same about the OT position, we addressed this off-season and got Trent Williams. Is there anything wrong with that move?

Looks like the assumptions where factual evidence yesterday.
Lol not trying to be an ass.

They went constantly at Sherm and Moseley yesterday as those two just were consistently struggling in coverage. Which is to be expected when you have a mobile QB.
Mosley looked bad and I hate to say it but my gut tells me E-man is going to have a long year

Talking about overreaction, if you are going to go by 1 game, then perhaps CB is not the priority. We need help at QB, WR, the whole OL except LT, the whole DL except one DE. We also need help at HC, OC, DC, and special team coordinator. We might as well look for a new GM and team owner.

Not going off one game sweets. Going off last year and just my gut. This game just continued to show what they've shown us. I'm just being a realist
Cornerback was an issue for us last year. Hell rest of the league and pundits think so.
We saw holes in the playoff games but we got buy until the SB. Watkins is not what he used to be at all. He straight up was roasting Sherman.

E-Man.... dude has the right mindset no doubt but that's about it. Again if he was so good he'd supplant Spoon early on. Mosley was getting owned. They said today Murray completed 10/10 targets on E-man. He's an average CB at best.

We need some serious help. I don't think they resign Sherm for anything more than a 1 yr deal. Makes no sense too.

Good stuff bud. We shall see when the year is over.

That is the difference in opinion between you and me. Base on last year CB was not an issue. Pundits think so. It is stupid to talk about Sherman being beat when he has an all pro season. All CBs get beat here and there. Single out a bad game is pointless. Mosley was solid last season and we agree Kwaun Williams is a stud.
KS injury updates on Kittle and Samuel and to a lesser extent Ayiuk didn't instill a ton of confidence lol. Kittle's sounded like last year and then the comment about Debo's foot soreness not getting better, but worse . Hope they are ok
Well now with Sherman out and the FACT we did nothing to upgrade the secondary in the off season we are f**ked gents.
I really hope he's not out too long and only three weeks but if it's more than three weeks spoon and Mosley cannot hold the fort down. Will be game over
Give Jimmy toys to play with!!! Kyle's playbook is not a toy, it's homework.
