The 49ers now have just 9.8m in cap space due to the new CBA.

League minimum salaries increased immediately, eating further into the space.
And there are now two more players that count towards the cap number.

The #49ers were very aggressive in locking up Arik Armstead before the start of free agency. They are taking more of a wait-and-see approach with Jimmie Ward and Emmanuel Sanders.

hate going WR this high after going WR twice in round 2 and again in round 3, but if we lose Sanders, being in range to get someone like Jerry Jeudy makes me feel a little better

Wr is a tricky yet simultaneously important position to draft. Got to keep taking shots at it. You need playmakers in the passing game nowadays.

AA's terms from a source, base salaries, $2.5M(20), $6.65M(21), $14.15M(22), $15.89M(23), $17.41M(24), $17M(25), $750K per game RBs from 2021-2024, $100K workout bonuses from 2021-2024, 2020 base is fully GTD, 2021 base fully GTD, $11.7M of 2022 base is GTD for injury full on 4/1

I have a copy of the contract thanks to a source, can't name names, but thanks to that person again. Great deal, only $26.65M fully GTD, total of $46.85M in Guarantees.

Updated numbers, forgot the $7.5M option bonus would be prorated over 5 yrs from 2021-2025, so cap numbers are actually $6M, $12.5M, 20M, $21.74M, $23.26M, 2025 option is voidable actually according to the deal, voids on 5th day of 2025 League Year waiver period.

2025 season is just a $1.5M dead money, read the deal wrong for a minute there. It voids if no extension is reached. Essentially a 5yr $102M deal.

I think this dude could be a sleeper. He was pretty damn good at Auburn, and I remember John Lynch saying they thought Coleman had starter potential before he got hurt.

I did have him in my off season plan but I had him testing the market first. He must be fully healthy. He does have a good skill set and knows the system...probably better than Justin Skule. This probably means they envision Daniel Brunskill at G.

The 49ers had $7,861,082 in carryover; and $1,305,669 in adjustments, now have the 49ers at $21,008,501 in cap room for 2020 before Jimmie Ward's deal.
