Side note on Brodie, some what like Former Dallas QB and announcer T, Romo....Mr. Brodie played on the men's senior golf tour AND if I recall correctly he actually Won a tournament, ( unlike Romeo ),I'm not sure if Brodie was a announcer or not...he was a great,natural athlete..

He announced games with Curt Gowdy and Merlin Olsen. If memory serves me correctly he did a SB broadcast. He threw one of the tightest spirals ever, in essence he was a top notch QB in his day.

Brodie is the greatest 49er QB whom I never saw play live, and I think many other young'ins can attest to that.

I need to make it a mission to learn more about the great, retired #12.
