AA. Easier to replace S and WR in this draft class or from our own depth.

As simple as this no question
Ward and Sanders are both replaceable Imo.

Not sure we'd be able to replace AA production that easy.

AA and trade him for 2nd and 4th round pick.

Yes please, but he's not under contract next week.
I really think that we need to keep AA for at least one more season. If he can play as good as he did last year then we need to keep him for the long term. He is way too valuable to let go. Additionally, from my under standing the cap will go up considerably in 2021 or 2022.
While it would nice to have Sanders for next year I think that it would be a lot easier to replace.
The best place to save money is finding a way to trade Alexander!
My thing with AA is, he was lackluster before we invested heavily in the D-Line, his price tag is a lot and there are some good alternatives who are cheaper and younger and IMO could play just as great as he did this year in this years DE/DT Free agency class. I truly think it was more the players around him more then he grew into such a great player.

But does it matter why he grew into a great player? He just did. No guarantee that a cheap FA will. Let Paraag worry about the bucks, I want the best. And here and now, that is Armstead.

If it ain't broke, don't fix it. We need to keep the core of Bosa, Buck, AA and Jones together for as long as possible. If anyone should be replaced, it would be Ford in a year from now if he can't become more of a full time player. He's getting paid way too much to be a part time player. We should be looking for his replacement now with the assumption that he will never be able to play all 3 downs again for us.

I'd rather keep AA - Ward and Sanders can be replaced in house and through the draft and FA.

I completely agree. Hey it's not our money.

I agree with Ford needs to prove his worth this year or he's gone which will, like you said open up a great amount of money to spend on Buckner.

Understand it's not our money but if giving AA 15+ yearly creates a hard time Resigning Kittle, Buckner, Tartt, Juice, Williams, Sherm, then Warner I'm against it, but we all know Paraag is a genius so maybe it all works out, just saying.
Aldon Smith. easy decision.
Would like to keep AA, but a little nervous about letting Sanders walk.

I think people are underestimating what he brings in experience and leadership.

There's so much talent in the draft, but I'd rather have that player coming in under Sanders guidance than without.
