If he high points the ball it's either a catch or a PI.

Benjamin is just not that guy. He's a scrub that needs the perfect throw over the shoulder in stride for it to have a chance to be completed. And even then it's probably a 50/50 chance of being dropped.

Aiyuk should've been the player to run that route. He would've definitely caught it or drawn the PI. Because he's a dog, unlike Benjamin buttons.

Also, I often see QBs underthrow passes to give the WR chances to work back to the ball and get the catch or PI.

IIRC, didn't Wentz do this several times to us on Sunday night? Wasn't everyone ridin his nuts for it? Because he was willing to throw deep and give his WR a chance. lol

I remember on the play being a lil surprised Benjamin was still on the team. Like why? Has he made a single play for us?

I am sure glad that Travis Benjamin had locks of great looking hair sticking out of all corners of his helmet during yesterday's game. That hair sure did look great, didn't it? Especially as he DROPPED a long pass from Garoppolo that HIT HIM IN THE HANDS. But his hair sure did look good as he was dropping that pass like a boob, didn't it?

For once -- just for once mind you -- I'd like Kyle Shanahan to remind these bit players that if they spent as much time on catching passes in practice as they do with hair styles on game day, they might actually make a significant play and earn significantly more playing time.

But, I suppose you can't do what Bill Walsh did and get away with it anymore, can you?

Blows me away that people consider an incomplete pass where the defender hits the player right as the ball hits him (or a split second before) a drop.

This is an easy touchdown with a better throw. This isnt a drop.

I don't know why he didn't high point it. It's a catch if he puts his arms above his head.

I cant imagine that having to slow down and come back to a ball after sprinting full speed downfield had anything to do with not being able to jump high and catch it above his head.

Oh, we're in here now talking about Jimmy?

We were talking about the Benjamin play in the Benjamin thread. Stop trolling.

Oh, you mean like every WR on every team does every game? That move? The one where our DB's usually get called for PI? That move? Yeah, no way Benjamin should have been required to make an adjustment to the ball. It's definitely the QB's fault, in your world...

And Deebo would have taken the interception out of the defender's hands after saying "That's my ball punk!"

This. God forbid he has to make an actual catch instead of running clear out routes all day

Richie James was a lot more productive than this scrub.

The sad thing is 15 of his 25 snaps this year were in the Trey-game. Zero deep shots to him even though they have way more chemistry together because of the Practice Squad connection.

That's not true. He fumbles as a returner. That's good for something.

Good for burning his man and getting open for a potential TD.

Too bad Jimmy's skillset is just not good enough for that kind of WR.
