Yes, he is. At the very least he'll be a major distraction. And with Shanny's commitment to the run he'll be a a cancer.

Show me where he's been a locker room cancer....his teammate actually loved having him on their team. Dude works hard. I don't give a s**t if he wears a watch or makes crazy catches during warmups.

Such a overblown comment.

It's been reported kyle would LOVE to have OBJ and him and Jimmy G are bros. Wouldn't be close to an issue. He just wants to win and WRs don't have an issue getting the ball in kyles scheme

You don't think this guy can become a problem?

Why should we bring in a 27 year old baby who has proven himself to be a sideline tantrum waiting to happen? You don't think this can be a detraction that can turn cancerous? This team does not need that kind of energy polluting the sidelines, or polluting the locker room. You speak to reports that Shanny likes the guy. But OBJ lacks something that Shanny and Lynch covets - in-games toughness who shys away from real contact:

On top of the tantrums and being an expensive headcase OBJ is a guy who makes "business decisions". You want that in our locker room? Sorry, I don't want him.

No. Because if I was stuck in 2 of the most dysfunctional organizations in professional sports, I might be annoyed too.

This dude in a Niners uniform and it's over.

"He wants to win" But then he goes on a boat party the same week of a playoff game and plays awful in Green Bay. Who's fault was that?

I don't understand these kind of signings.

Have to carry 90 players in to training camp.

If you give them no guaranteed money and you cut them before the season starts there is no cap hit. Basically someone brought in to make sure Danta Pettis, and Richie James keep working. out. I will point out that people said the same thing about Daniel Brunskill, brought in on a one year deal from the world football federation?? Kyle shannahan only knew him as number 61 and lots of vets he had to beat out. By the end of camp, he knew his name, Brunskill, and he played a lot last season. So who knows.

At this point, I'll take a decent starter at least. Our FA has been crap so far. I'm not sure how anybody thinks we got better. But I'm sure people will point to the draft and try and act like rookies are gonna make up for guys like Buckner and Sanders. Maybe in 3 years from now...

Didnt we just watch a super bowl featuring 3 rookies that played well.
Well it won't cost much for this no name so let's see if Kyle can get production out of him. He had 6 catches last year and had butterfinger reviews

Bahahaha so he's passionate and gets mad when he knows he can help a team and can't do anything about it...If he's on an actual winning team he's not gonna get upset. Throw in we HAVE actual good vets like Joe and Sherm WE have a good locker room and a great culture that rubs off on players.

Yup. People like ignoring the obvious. Deebo was our mvp on offense in the SB and was awesome throughout the year not to mention Greenlaw was an absolute steal. Bosa was a game changer
This guy is another body for camp to compete for a roster spot next fall, if football resumes. Not every signing is a star but you do have to fill out your roster. Think 2020's Jordan Matthews.

This. His mouth says one thing, his actions say another. I'd rather they just go WR early in the draft and bring in a guy who can be developed in the offense from Day 1.

Travis Benjamin at age 30 would of had to slow down to catch that SB pass from Jimmy. Whether his stone hands could've caught it remains one the world's greatest mysteries.

How you figure? Maybe Kyle wanted a guy who had his best year in his system

Over Dorsett?
Nah I doubt that. We didn't have the cap for Dorsett
