Missed 27 games the last 2 years and had to have 2 offseason shoulder surgeries, is 32 years old and was set to carry a 20 mill cap hit in final year of his deal.

Nobody was trading for him with that cap number after missing most of the last 2 years.

Ohhhhh no. Only SF would let a quality OL hit free agency. All quality OL are premium now and have been the last 5 years. They'll be even more after watching SF and KC's OL's in back-to-back Superbowl losses.

There's an overabundance of DT's every year in FA.
