4 weeks

I heard his leg literally fell off right then and there.

I heard the same thing, was dangling while walking off.

Bruh I heard he's dead

Nobody survives a hammy tweak. Name even one time it has happened.
Isnt that what destroyed Bosa's season last year?

Aiyuk's injury is minor and deebo will be back by week one

Hope Aiyuk and Deebo will be there midseason and make a difference in our offense. As for the Aiyuk injury, they didn't go back into the training room - they stayed on the practice field. If it was serious, both Ford and Aiyuk would have gone inside, I would think if I read the article right.
These hamstring injuries are serious. He will most likely have to have the hamstring amputated - this will most likely interfere with his 40 :/
WELP SEASONS OVER FAM

(Insert sarcasm here)

I mean, over the last three years we have statistically been one of the most injured teams. But that has nothing to do with the prognosis of Aiyuk's injury... 'zoners gonna zone.

Not completely true. We are tied for 11th with the Ravens and Seahawks with 70 injuries between 2014-2018. The worst was the Saints with 88. The fewest was the Vikings at 35. The 6 teams behind us averaged less than 2 fewer injuries per year. So we're really just slightly worse than average when it comes to injuries. The 2017 and 2018 seasons were our worst in that 4 year period. Last season we one of the healthier teams in the playoffs. I think what makes it seem so bad to Niner fans is we pay much more attention to our team. It also matters who gets injured. Losing Jimmy for the season was a bigger deal than some team losing an O linemen or a safety.

But that is just numerical. It doesn't assess the importance of the player so far as I can see. So the loss of a starting qb for 8 weeks would be assessed as the same as the loss of a 3rd string tight end? And we do seem to lose a lot of starters.

That's what I said in the last 3 lines. I don't know who the other teams lost. I'm sure some lost good players and some lost QBs. As we've said over and over , that's football. The thing I found interesting was that the Vikings consistently have the fewest injuries. There number of 35 over 4 seasons was half of what about 50% of the league get. It wasn't just one season where they were abnormally low. They had very few each year. I'd like to know their secret.

That's not true at all. One should not count the amount of injuries rather than the players that got injured. Players like Staley our full back all these players like the Ford are all pros they're not just regular average player injuries these are impact players at impact positions. It's not even close comparing a regular players' injury to a great player like we always have injured.

I know you mentioned who gets injured and it usually is a very good player for the Niners. Staley McGlinchy Kyle J, Ford and so and so on

Good work, Catch. It gives needed perspective .

Grant seems to think he will miss a couple of months. So expect him to be back in a few days.
