Grant seems to think he will miss a couple of months. So expect him to be back in a few days.

Months??

He's just speculating like he always does and even says that so he doesn't look like a fool if he is wrong. He says he was there when it happened and is speculating that hamstring injuries could keep you out that long. But no there is no word yet at all about his injury. I would like to think no news is good news.

Here. Speculate as you see fit

The 3 grades of hamstring injury are:

  • grade 1 – a mild muscle pull or strain
  • grade 2 – a partial muscle tear
  • grade 3 – a complete muscle tear
The length of time it takes to recover from a hamstring strain or tear will depend on how severe the injury is.

A minor muscle pull or strain (grade 1) may take a few days to heal, whereas it could take weeks or months to recover from a muscle tear (grade 2 or 3).
lol months, f**k outta here

Sounds like he just tweaked it - rest up and be ready for the opener.

I hope so. I feel like this kid may be a steal of a talent from what we hear. (nobody really talked about him on draft day until we took him). We have had not such great luck with WR, for Deebo and now Aiyuk to pan out would be fantastic.

I hope so also. Hammy tweaks tend to stick around tho

Only if you rush it back. We don't know the details of the severity(hopefully it's minor) sucks but if you give him time to heal he'll be fine. Tyreek Hill just had a hamstring injury, Chief fans aren't losing it.

Yeah fans are getting a bit dramatic over every single "injury" that happens.

Yeah, this season isn't about September/October. Remember Bill Walsh Niners. He would experiment during the first two months and then gear the team up on a strong roll during the last 6 to 8 weeks of the season. We would always turn into Terminator machine mode during the stretch run.
