Why is that the case in Reno? I haven't spent much time there other than driving through. Usually fly into Reno and then drive to Lake Tahoe for skiing or even a summer vacation. I wouldn't guess that vibe for Reno. But maybe you are correct. What causes that for Reno? I wouldn't see it as a super rich entitled town. It's more of an at the base of the foothills and mountains town. So it's like want to pretend to be rich and entitled? Lake Tahoe really is rich obviously. They don't have to pretend there.
Reno causes that vibe..lol.
Ppl are just kinda ugh there anyone that visits from out of town for any length of time, gets it. Reno has gotten kinda more upscale or higher priced with Tesla, Google and whatever moving up there. Overpriced for crappy weather and distant ppl vibes. Idk I hated it. Was so glad to get out of there. Tahoe is nice though, besides the winter. BA went to McQueen High..NW Reno zone. Entitled ppl in that area haha. Idk Reno was not for me. Place is an overpriced dump lol.
That's interesting. But I heard they are building a lot of new retirement housing. Even for people who have money. Because not everyone wants to live in hot Las Vegas. Plus not everyone is a billionaire to live in Lake Tahoe. LOL. So it's the cooler option and close to the mountains and skiing but not right on it. I guess you could look at it like it's far from places. Depending what you want to be close to. I never minded it much. But I usually just go through the airport and then the rental car counter to get to Lake Tahoe to ski. So I don't have a total realistic view of the place. Just passing through doesn't teach you as much as living there obviously.
