Clearly they now are seeing who blinks first. Aiyuk must be really over valuing himself. He's the 17th ranked WR in fantasy and he's going 4th round or lower for you fantasy guys drafting lol.
4th you say?

🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

Lol that is only because of this whole situation. Had he been signed months ago he'd be a middle 2nd to early 3rd guy

Him being the 17th ranked WR in fantasy (which is debatable anyway), has absolutely no bearing on how valuable or good of an NFL WR he is.

What determines his value, in your estimation? Not rhetorical or menacing

Situations matter. Chris Olave is ranked higher than Aiyuk because of usage. Olave had over 30 more targets than Aiyuk last year, but no one would consider Olave better.

Yeah. I'm not disagreeing with you 👍🏻. I just think some people tend to use the "receiver market" as his set-in-stone value… I tend to believe that "value to the specific team" also plays a part… meaning a receiver like BA would hold more value on a talent-depleted roster than he might on the niners squad. Relative value, if that's what you want to call it. If that's the case, there really aren't any comps out there due to there not being any other receivers in this specific position.

example: I don't think ceedee would get that contract on this team either.

example 2: cmc got an insane contract on our squad that he probably wouldn't have gotten elsewhere

could be wrong. Just a thought

But isn't BAs beef about the backloading of his new salary into the last year which is voidable?

no one knows really what's the hold up. But odds are, like you said could be that he wants the last year to have some Gtd money

No it's not. It's based on him having a decent season. In fantasy top QBs, most RBs, top TEs are going off the board before 2nd and 3rd tier WRs

I see BA as a mid to late 3rd rounder given best circumstances. He's a good receiver but not a superstar. Niners have been more than fair with their offer. If BA won't take the deal, he can sit.

Yup! 30mm a year really ain't 30mm a year if Niners can void the last year. But…every team will employ the same tactic. So BA's beef is a matter of how the NFL can wiggle out of a contract after the third year and get off cheap.

Well welcome to the NFL Brandon!

I think we'll be fine with the two new rookies… of course after the growing pains. Far more concerned with the TW situation, but even that is just noise at this point. Let's f**king play football… I like the underdog role better anyhow

CMC I still believe is vastly underpaid if you look at how valuable he is. People need to stop judging him based on the position that he plays and look at him as a football player and all that he does. His annual salary is like $19 Million a season and the guy touches the ball over 300 times a season and is elite in all aspects of the game. To put it in perspective is there a WR in the league that is more valuable than CMC? Maybe Tyreek but it's close. And these elite WR's are getting paid almost twice as much as CMC. You have midtier WR's getting paid more than CMC. I am sorry but $19 Million a season is a bargain when it comes to CMC. But people look at it as expensive because of the label RB's get. He's not your typical RB.

I'd start Cowing! I know this goes counter to everything Kyle believes in but desperate times call for desperate measures. He wouldn't be the only rookie WR starting in the NFL.

Give the kid a shot. I think he's special.
