Yikes. No bueno.

Expect lots of 2 TE sets and running and a truck load of passes to McKinnon and Taylor on 3rd downs.

Light practice for them today - then full practice tomorrow.

Rushing them back 3 days before a game with little to no practice is just plain stupid. Not going to happen imo.

I know I sound crazy but don't sleep on Dante Pettis. I know, I can't believe I'm saying it, but it's true.

Man, I can't wait to see what we do. McKinnon, Taylor, Pettis, and Reed all can be very dangerous in the slot, so we've got a lot of groupings we can go with. I think the first game may setup to be a shootout if we can't establish the clock-controlling ground game.

more excited to see McKinnon and Taylor. obviously Reed will prolly get a lot of targets as Kittle will draw attention.

I feel like our offense is loaded this year even more. just need Deebo and Aiyuk to be healthy. quality WR depth if Pettis can redeem himself - which sounds like it'll be the case based off what we have heard

No. But it could be the difference between a "W" and an "L"...

Yeah I think that will be the strategy until Aiyuk and Samuel come back. We don't really have an outside threat....
McKinnon, Taylor, Pettis, and Reed all can be very dangerous in the slot,
Yeah...and Aldon Smith could be dangerous coming off the edge for Dallas.

There's potential with all of them but let's not throw "dangerous" around for guys that have seen the field so little they may not remember what color the grass is.

This game without Aiyuk and Deebo(let's assume both will be inactive) will serve as a gauge for Pettis, Taylor, Bourne, McKinnon, etc. If they play at least solid enough to give the team a chance to win, then they'll get the coaches' trust and it will earn them more opportunities of playing time and active roster inclusion. If they don't, then we know who we should keep, and who we should get rid of eventually.

Don't really see the problem saying that they could potentially be viable offensive threats, lol. Yes, 3/4 of them have dealt with injuries the past couple years. But all have the talent to do good things, along with real evidence of their effectiveness in past game situations, unlike say, Kevin White.

The other point mentioned was our formational/personnel grouping flexibility with having those guys as players in the slot. That's one of the things I'm really excited to see this year.
