The problem is that Aiyuk used all of his ammo.
He can't request a trade harder. He can't sit out more. He can't pound the table again.
He is just going to miss game checks now. His time to strike was two weeks ago.

As much as refusal Aiyuk has been dishing out, he has no choice but to either accept a trade or miss game checks. If Aiyuk caves into what the 9ers offered him, he'll be one of the biggest laughing stocks. IMO. If he settles for anything less than $28 million, all of what he did would have been for absolutely nothing. Dude is in a deeper hole than he wanted to be in, his bluff been called so many times he's looking like a big a*****e now.

This all comes down to how much BA believes in himself.
If he truly has confidence in himself he will play on the 5th year option and get the deal he wants (after a trade) next offseason.
If he actually feels like he's in for a down year he will take the Niners offer and guarantee security.
The Niners offer isn't changing. If he didn't believe that before, he will now.
