All of a sudden the pressure is on the team to get the players back into the fold. So that is the gamble...don't play and hope their presence is clearly missing on the field.

I wish Jacob, Chris or Ricky catch 100+ and a TD playing the Divas position so that everyboday in the league and their friends see that the production is also a result of scheming, team and the playcaller.

Suddenly Aiyuk will be down to earth again.
This guy is a joke

That HAS to figure into their value of Aiyuk.

Right now, they're losing Trent Williams at the same time. I really hope they turned all their attention to getting Trent Williams in the building, the Aiyuk situation seems like a lost cause. Just let Aiyuk sit on ice right now.
Reminds me of Michael Crabtree. He wants #1 money for being the #10 pick (about equivalent because he's about #10 WR). He never put up the biggest numbers. But he's #1. He wants to re enter the draft the next year. Just like this fool wants to sit out for the whole year. Sick of his act. Send him packing. Pearsall and Cowing will do the job.

They can do both. It hasn't been one or the other scenario.

This PUNK really has a lot of demands. It's all got to be right too.
I wonder when there is the point that we can say wholeheartly: the rest of the league does not want no piece of Aiyuk.
This circus is ridiculous. Who wants to get such a headache into his team?

at Amari cooper is solid. Wonder if that's happening now

Amari a 2nd and a 5th...that is a good deal in my opinion. Too bad Aiyuk said no.

At this point I would take that deal from Cleveland. Cooper would cost less now and in the future, is 90% as good as Aiyuk, and we get a 2nd and 5th rounder (and you know we will find a gem in the 5th) and can use that 2nd to move up in the 1st round from 32 to get an OT

The problem is that Aiyuk used all of his ammo.

He can't request a trade harder. He can't sit out more. He can't pound the table again.

He is just going to miss game checks now. His time to strike was two weeks ago.

As much as refusal Aiyuk has been dishing out, he has no choice but to either accept a trade or miss game checks. If Aiyuk caves into what the 9ers offered him, he'll be one of the biggest laughing stocks. IMO. If he settles for anything less than $28 million, all of what he did would have been for absolutely nothing. Dude is in a deeper hole than he wanted to be in, his bluff been called so many times he's looking like a big a*****e now.

But does he even have a no trade clause or are we being nice to him by allowing him to kick the tires and see first if a team like Cle will even pay him?

We know that Pitt wasn't going to give him near what he wanted and supposedly offered what we did at $26M per.

if we get Amari Cooper, a 2nd rounder, a 5th as reported then maybe we just pull that trigger….. then Aiyuk gets there and Cle offers him $26.1M and he gets clowned and sees his career extinguish in 2 years of mediocrity.

At this point I'd be totally fine with Amari and a 2nd

Yeah but it's possible his stance has changed after watching Pitts qb situation lmao. At least Cleveland has solid backups, relatively speaking.
