No....comments like this are embarrassing.

If the Broncos agreed to trade Courtland for a 3rd, Aiyuk would be a Steeler. So, he wasn't a dipsh*t. He was close to acquiring a top WR for a 2nd and 3rd. It could have easily gone his way.

They weren't gonna trade him for pocket change unless things couldn't be salvaged.

Yeah. I agree with NY that BA and 49ers never truly wanted to leave each other.

so the only way a trade like this happens is if it's absolute worst case scenario. I view it as the team doing due diligence and applying pressure to Aiyuk to come to terms.

if lynch traded a 26 year old all pro for a mediocre WR like Sutton and a 2nd - that would be awful. At least Amari cooper has put up really good numbers no matter where he has been and is easily one of the best route runners in the league.

i don't view this courtland thing as likely - just the 49ers trying to know what their options are in a worst case scenario - like they should.

goodbye in '25:
Deebo, Lenoir/Ward, Greenlaw, Hufanga, Banks... at least 3, maybe 4 of those guys

especially with Cowing looking good, Pearsall coming...
there's not much behind OL - feels like we need to keep Banks
we finally have two legit starting CBs
Greenlaw is our enforcer, I like the young guys, but they're not him
Hufanga still might be the second coming of Troy P... we don't know yet... he had Wilkes and an injury last year, all-pro in his second season before that, won a playoff game in his rookie year on STs
and Deebo changes opposing team's gameplans, he opens things up for everyone else and is almost underrated because of that

sorry to be the downer at the party

edit: happy for this year though

Holy overreaction lol

There are fans who truly want to be miserable at all times.

seriously whining about having the best roster in the nfl lol

their dips**t GM really thought he could fleece us. Hilarious. Hope the guy feels like a complete fool

false, aiyuk never wanted to leave and the niners are shrewd negotiators, they called his bluff.
Glad to see Aiyuk finally signed. Now let's get Trent signed & get on to some football

The new Pretty Rickey
I guess this is the last season with us for Banks, Juice, Deebo, Mooney and Hufanga

And this makes the Jennings' extension even more head-scratching

THIS

I really do think this was a big part of it. He and his agent loved it all. He was talked about almost everyday in all the sports media shows and his name was always trending on X.

He made a behind the scenes doc, right? Will be interesting if that gets released
He could've just asked Kyle in April if he signs, could he skip training camp.

Too bad this Super Bowl roster is led by a Super Bowl bum. Kyle gonna do his best to blow it all up, and next year the team will pay heavy with losses in key positions in order to keep Brock. The only way out of this is for Brock to pull off a young Aaron Rodgers move and take the team on his own shoulders and basically tell Kyle to f**k off. It's how Aaron got his ring with McCarthy. It's the only way this loaded roster wins with Kyle as head coach. You need players to supersede expectations to overcome jokers like McCarthy, Reid, Shanahan. Hope Brock can do it.

How? With Debo gone Jennings will be more valuable at a good price

Kyle has his short comings. He will struggle to win. Even with a nearly perfect roster. The best in the NFL. He has proven that many times.
Cap ramifications, please?
