Kittle is involved. His involvement just has him as an inline blocker, which is part of the job description as a TE.
Who is crying about touches? Deebo sets a tone nobody else on the team has managed to do and he's able to back it up. I've become more bullish on Pearsall since the news came out that the 49ers missed the medical on him. I've also never really looked at him as a replacement for either Deebo or Aiyuk. Seemed like he was meant to replace Jennings.
Whatever everyone thinks. It's pretty easy to look at these puzzle pieces and see where we are headed next year. Lets keep seeing how we can make the cap work for all of them. It ain't happening.

And yes, George is underutilized no matter how much blocking he does.

Do we go with the people actually talking about numbers to support their position? Or do we go with vibes?

It would be swell to keep our D in tact as much as possible. Funny how they are forgotten in the world of let's keep every WR we can. Thats my vibe.

If Deebo has a great year he will be right back here with us next year

Idk if deebo will be gone or not - I love the guy and expect a big year this year from him.

with that said, if we do resign him - is the plan for Ricky Pearsall to be a 3rd string WR as a first round pick?

that'll be interesting to see how it all falls together.

Kittle is involved a LOT! It's just a lot of his use is as a blocker, because A - he's great at it! And B - We can't get a decent RT and they need the help. He doesn't complain because have you seen him play?? Dude LOVES being physical and mixing it up. He's said several times he doesn't care about how many catches he gets.

if any of you were paying attention, Kittle had his 3rd best year last year

And why is that? Because historically he has been used a LOT as a blocker. Nobody ever said he didn't have a good year, and nobody said they were just talking about last year. But ironinc on the "paying attention".
Kittles pass block % is about 11-15% but people treat it like we're leaving him in to block 90% of the time. We aren't.

You are clueless. Dreaming and don't understand why picked a WR with their only first round pick. Maybe math is not your best subject and you specialize in post following. We were in good shape even when paying Jimmy as his salary now crap.

Brock on tap. And if you have a franchise QB, a real one, not a paid one, you are always in it. I'd say we have a franchise QB who can make plays. I have said a million times the plan has always lose Deeb next year. If anyone wants to complain about underpaid and role it's CMC. He is this offense leader. I love our WRs but it takes a defense to keep it going. If we have to lose Deeb to sustain a player or two D let's go. And Kittle is underplayed Kelce says hello and hoists a couple of trophy's.

Deebo is still under contract for 2025

Maybe Brock will take Monopoly money. Who's next to scream underpaid after these two. After Trent settled are we peaches and cream?

Peace, didn't mean to come across a dick but what's happening now is a good sign of Brock and reality.

depending how the gtd money is set... but Brock contract wouldn't hit harder than it is until 2026. Trent has 3 years left and his extension would hit harder after that. Cap goes up every year as long as the fans keep spending.

being worried right now is not worth it as a lot can change in a year

With his skill set, he could be hitting 1,000 yards and be among the tops in TE receptions EVERY season. You realize he had 65 catches last season? 65. Travis Kelce had 93! The season before? Kittle had 60. Kelce had 110! Too much comparison to Kelce? Ok - last season Kittle was 10th in Tight End receptions. 10th. Behind such generational talents as Jake Ferguson, Dalton Kincaid, and the one and only Cole Kmet! How hard is any of this to understand, seriously?

And as far as his "production went up" - his yards went up. Catches were down. TD's were down. Targets were down. He did a LOT with the opportunities that he got, but he did have fewer of them.
