It's once again an offensive league. Everyone trying to be us all of a sudden. Didn't you see the last draft? Had a run on offensive players and great defensive talents were to be found later on. Everyone now trying to stockpile weapons offensively

We had the leagues best DL a few years now but we get to the bowl and they just get held and tackled from behind on third down so now teams are tooling up offensively trying to beat KC and us

A bunch of chokers?

🤣 such a petulant child

Sorry to hurt your feelings, son.

Lol it's just amusing watching kids having little tantrums and talking ridiculous s**t because they think it makes them look cool

What's a better life goal than looking cool on a web forum full of random people.

Exactly. Nobody, and I mean NOBODY, is trying to follow the Kyle Shanahan school of choking at the worst of moments. KC ? Damn right everyone wants to be like them.

I find it hilarious that fans around these parts hold us and the Chiefs in the same breath. I guess it's a coping mechanism. 3 SB wins vs 2 SB losses. Almost the same amount of appearances, so everyone wants to be like "us".

shameful

In 2027 it jumps to $42.3 million but that is sure to be reworked . Either that or he gets traded or released since none of the $27 million in base salary is guaranteed.

It's team friendly as long as he don't pull the same s**t as Silverback.

If he has a season that puts him at #3 on the NFL Top 100 then he will do the same thing.

Shhh... you're going to burst their bubble.

Delusional fans think we (and not KC) are the blueprint for a winning team.

Just have to find an all time great at QB, HC, and a top DC who already blew his chances at being a HC.

Ezpz.
I come in here to check the Aiyuk thread and find no mention of him.

Rule #1.

Good to hear.

If this deal is "team friendly" then 90%+ of contracts are "team friendly". This is structured similar to most WR contracts without a huge non-guaranteed last year inflating the AV. Cap hits are normally smaller in early years because the bonus gets amortized and there's usually 1-2 years at the end teams can get out of.

Amon-Ra St. Brown and Tyreek Hill are on team-friendly deals. Hill signed a 3Y $90 deal which is really 2 years $54 million with a team option for $36M the third year that can be ripped up. Amon-Ra has the same extension as Aiyuk (4 years, $120M) but with less guaranteed money and an inflated 4th year ($36M).

Correct. It's why it's funny to see all the whiny comments that we are going to lose 20 all pros because we signed aiyuk

I'd imagine they'll trade purdy before losing all those players. Overreact much?

You are more stup....I mean naive than I thought if you think that we can keep this core with Purdy, Williams, Aiyuk, Deebo, Kittle, CMC, Bosa, Warner and probably Lenoir getting top money.

Well, reading your other posts I wouldn't be surpsrised if you really believe it

They can keep a core of Purdy, CMC, Aiyuk, Deebo, Kittle, Trent, Bosa, Hargrave, Warner, Dre, Ward & Lenoir making $10m or more a yr on average, the Eagles have 12 players making $10m or more a yr, QB Hurts at $51m thru 2028, WR Brown at $32m thru 2029, WR Smith at $25m thru 2028, LT Mailata at $22m thru 2028, IOL Dickerson at $21m thru 2028, RT Johnson at $20m thru 2026, EDGE Huff at $17.033m thru 2026, TE Goedert at $14.25m thru 2025, CB Slay at $13m thru 2026, CB Bradberry at $12.666m thru 2025, RB Barkley at $12.583m thru 2026, & EDGE Sweat at $10m thru 2024, so if the Eagles can do it then so can the 49ers do something like this on long term deals, WB Brock at $55m, RB CMC at $19m, WR Aiyuk at $30m, WR Deebo at $23.85m, TE Kittle at $15m, LT Trent at $28.5m, DE Bosa at $34m, IDL Hargrave at $21m, MLB Warner at $19.045m, WLB Greenlaw at $10m, CB Ward at $20m & CB Lenoir at $10m that comes to $250.532m a yr for PHI vs $285.395m a yr for SF but the Eagles will have to extend Goedert, p,us whoever else they have on the team who is up & coming, plus Trent likely won't be around past 2026, so this is indeed doable, thanks to the fact that the cap is going to explode every yr, it won't go up by only $4.6m in 2025 not when it went up by $30,6m this yr.

What also helps is that since the 2022 draft was so meh outside of Purdy, no other big contracts are looming lol.

I will say is this a projection based on 2025 only, which I agree is totally doable, or are you saying you see Deebo and Greenlaw here in 2026, which would require 3rd contracts for both. Actually 1 year earlier on Greenlaw because his deal is up after this season.

Hope these guys win it back to back. Four Super Bowl appearances with two wins would get a couple guys gold jackets considering the run this team has been on since 2019.

It was to call his bluff. I wasn't believing any of those trash trades until pen was put to paper

...and it worked. People really don't understand business, lol.

They used those trades to show BA they weren't being unreasonable. Sad it came to that because that tells me BA and/or his agent must be dumb, but it is what it is.

Fair deal. $76M guaranteed. CeeDee got $100M.

Great deal for us. Just hope he doesn't come back and pull this stuff again in two years...

Pull what stuff? He was on a rookie contract and wanted his 1st true deal.
