It's the players/agents that don't want to sign fast especially if a big pay day is involved. Unless the pay is that crazy, the player/agent want to draw it out as much as possible. They want the "dominoes" to fall so they can negotiate better.
In most cases "meet in the middle" happens. Of course we paid a bit more than we wanted, but that goes for every team that isn't a cheap ass and cares about winning.
The TW part was tongue in cheek comment, since you obviously have no idea what's going on behind the scenes and are passing your opinion of as a fact.
And the 49ers negotiated with Aiyuk last offseason. They negotiated with him this offseason. The conversation you interjected yourself into was addressing the the weird belief that the team did not cave to Aiyuk's demands. Homers have the viewpoint that the negotiations started on August 10th or 12th, depending on which Schefter report they read, and that Aiyuk ultimately caved to the team.
Yes, in general, negotiations will have some meeting point in the middle. In the Aiyuk negotiations, that didn't happen. They ended up giving up more than what Aiyuk originally wanted because they dragged out the negotiations to the deadline.

They did not negotiate last offseason. This is false.
Who said they started negotiations in August? Wtf are you talking about
You have no clue what you're talking about. Next time start your sentences off with, "imo"

Correct, it's essentially a 3yr $76M deal, & that $76M will all be fully GTD by April 1, 2025, $45M was GTD at signing fully, as for the final years, 1 of 4 things happen, He's cut with a post June 1 designation, He's traded post June 1, his deal is restructured, or he's extended, but 2027 is a longways a way.

What did Aiyuk originally want and show me the proof

Aiyuk was aiming to try and extend with the 49ers for 26M at the start of the offseason. Aiyuk and his agent were trying to get them to come up to that number. They probably would have gotten it done had Paraag more reasonable negotiating.
Not believing he was worth the 26M he was asking for, the 49ers had trade discussions with a number of teams before the draft. Aiyuk was looking in the neighborhood of 28M at the time from other teams. Five teams were willing to pay Aiyuk the contract he wanted. The 49ers rejected all five trade offers at the time, which included the #34 pick from the Patriots. edit-For the PrettyRickey believers, he tweeted the Steelers had offered the 49ers their first-round pick before the draft for Aiyuk. (#20 overall)
Some reporting stated that the 49ers wanted a minimum of two first-round picks before the draft for Aiyuk. The Jaguars were interested in acquiring Aiyuk at one point but the 49ers reportedly wanted a first-round pick and Zay Jones.
The day before the draft, Amon-Ra St. Brown signs his extension. The day of the draft, A.J. Brown signs his extension. The tone from the 49ers quoted by the beat writers completely shifts. It's no longer upbeat vibes and adulation moving forward.
Before Jefferson signed his extension, the Jets, Colts, and 49ers all called to see if the Vikings would be willing to trade him. The Vikings didn't even entertain them.
Flashforward to mid-July after Aiyuk formally requested a trade, Garafolo reports that the 49ers hadn't been negotiating with Aiyuk since May.
Source: #49ers All-Pro WR Brandon Aiyuk has officially requested a trade after an offseason of unsuccessful attempts to reach an extension.
Despite a recent meeting, the Niners haven't been willing to engage in negotiations since May so Aiyuk has respectfully asked out. pic.twitter.com/EWxYMvsHch
When Aiyuk brought the Steelers to the trade table after his trade request, the extension he agreed to was in the 28-29M range. The 49ers gave Aiyuk the trade packages they had been working on with Cleveland and New England. Aiyuk refuses to extend with those teams, effectively killing those trades. The 49ers leak the trades to Maiocco in SF and Mary Kay Cabot in Cleveland. My belief is that they were trying to bait the Steelers into bidding against themselves. They didn't. The Patriots attempted another run at Aiyuk, this time offering the 32.5M contract that was talked about. Aiyuk still wasn't interested. The 49ers had one more set of talks at the start of August with the Steelers, trying to get better pick compensation and a player. The Steelers stuck to their offer. The 49ers then re-engaged in serious negotiations while holding onto the framework for a trade with Pittsburgh their fallback.
During this entire time, the 49ers are still calling teams to find a replacement for Aiyuk. They were even calling teams in the days leading up to Aiyuk signing the extension. Aiyuk and his agent had gotten the 49ers to 29M. With no other team willing to bail the 49ers out and shoot them an all-pro X receiver for cheap, the 49ers laid down an ultimatum about getting it done or going to Pittsburgh. Aiyuk and his agent said they wanted 1M more added to average of his contract to get it done. The 49ers gave him that and the deal was done.
Now, would you like to hear the story of the Valentine's Day Massacre?

It's a 2 year $62M extension with a team option the 3rd and 4th years for $58M. Including the last year of existing contracts just makes fans feel better about the extension. New money average is guaranteed to be at least $30M/year and with the cap going up, he'll probably play out this contract.

unless I'm reading this wrong, it looks like after 2026 there's a easy out. They can also restructure or extend at that point as well to push down that cap hit.

So the niners started negotiations last year and purposely dragged them to the deadline?

When your first link contradicts your post, really no reason to post more links.
Your post: Aiyuk was aiming to try and extend with the 49ers for 26M at the start of the offseason
the link: According to reports, Aiyuk and the 49ers were close to agreeing to an extension early in the offseason that was worth roughly $26 million per season.
the link you posted mentions nothing of aiyuk "trying to extend at 26M".That was the negotiated amount they landed on that got adjusted when st brown signed. It's in the players best interest to drag these things out, not the clubs. i can't imagine how much nonsense is littered in the rest of your post

That's how I understand it. If we get out after the third year - it's a $25.3M average for Aiyuk.
