I mean, I think him taking accountability is actually a positive. I respect that. Other guys would blame everyone else.

You're right, it is refreshing but the fact that he did it will make me sour until he snags a TD then all is forgiven.

Yeah I never like holdouts, I can't remember the last time I've seen a guy hold out and NOT under-perform compared to their previous year. Always hope for the best, but.. Man.. I'm glad we at least added some more weapons in the rotation with JC and Ricky, even though the latter won't be able to play for a bit.

The only time I remember a guy performing just as well post-holdout is Emmitt Smith in 1993. Missed the first two games, team went 0-2, came back and team went 12-2 and won the Super Bowl. Smith ran for 1486 yards, won league MVP and won Super Bowl MVP.

I don't think holding out has anything to do with it really. I know people think Bosa underperformed last year because he didn't have 18+ sacks and get DPOY again but he still had double digits and was statistically one of the top five defenders in the league.

If Aiyuk doesn't have 1,400 yards that's not regressing unless he's getting the same amount of targets and snaps.

I don't think there's any evidence showing that players who held out of training camp are any more likely to get injured either.

Joe Thomas said after he held out, it took about 9 practices for him to catch up to everyone else.

And Jordan Mason should now be more of a factor in the run game. Really looking forward to more of that
BA vs Sauce Gardner week 1
Yeah he did make negotiations harder than it needed to be. LOL.

Email the bolded to Bosa… he stated a couple times the holdout affected his performance
With sauce all over him, will Brandon Aiyuk be used more as a decoy this week?

Sauce doesn't travel he's usually on one side so BA won't be on him all game

We sign these guys and they slack, go look at Bosa, Kittle, and Deebo after they got paid.

The pre & post stats after these guys get paid is crazy, the drop off happens fast.

WTF do you mean slack off!!! You couldn't be more wrong. You leave out so much detail, it's misleading no question.

Deebo, suffered what looked to be a season ending injury, luckily it was just a high ankle sprain.

Kittle, despite only starting and playing in only 8 games (due to injury) he still managed to get 600+ yards receiving. Had he started the whole season, you know damn well he would've went over a thousand yards.

Bosa, sure he started off slow but ended the season with 10.5 sacks and was a monster in the playoffs.

I still think he's a f**kin moron, talking all that s**t about a Lamborghini and whatever. Meanwhile you got Ja'Marr Chase saying positive things like "I think a deal is within reach". Aiyuk should've just shut his f**kin mouth like Trent Williams and Ja'Marr Chase.
