We went thru all that crap and his crying and holding out and this happens.
Man if BA he didn't have it after a hold out, how's he gonna have it after coming back from an injury. Damn we should've traded him.

This is why he fought for that contract. Careers can end quickly. He's young enough to bounce back, but it's a rough sport.
If Kyle walked to Lynch's office, the trade would have been done.

Wasn't much of a factor. Feel bad for him but truth be told should have traded him this offseason.

Agreed. I feel bad but he's been trash this year so not a huge loss

Well if we want any shot this year, he has to now

Many wanted him traded here, especially with the money he was demanding and how he was acting. He's a real good receiver but has never been that dominate #1 that deserves that type of money. I was hoping he was traded since I thought our team needed to reload a bit with some of our holes and with the roster aging. I just couldn't see things going as perfect as they did last season so it wasn't worth the 'all in' method of trying to get back to the SuperBowl not matter how tempting that is.

This is true.

If he was playing his 5th year with us and not traded, his value goes to crap next year.
How is the cap affected when a guy is on IR?

Not a surprise, but still…

This is to be expected considering the play. It looked like he tore something

They already know. If it's torn, you have the player bend it and you pull forward on it it will shift. That's the test on the field they do.

They already know it. They just haven't had the MRI confirm it.

That test on the field tells you immediately.

I feel bad for him as a person. But to be honest, I am excited to see what other guys can do.

That was a horrible contract for a guy who is not a legit #1 WR.

Gutted for BA.
Brock was off all day and threw that ball into a dangerous place. That reminded me of a jimmy g throw. Hung his guy out defenseless.
