I mean if you have the consistent hands and body control to haul it in should it be thrown to you, blown coverages count too.

There are some studly-looking young WRs right now that cant seem to hold onto the ball. Love what I've seen from this guy's catch radius thus far and the ability to use his reach.

If you can get this kid the ball consistently, he's going to be a problem.

Oh I agree, I like everything I've read/seen of aiyuk since coming here.

That comment wasn't meant to poo poo on him... It was a straight up blown coverage though.
You can't judge a guy after one game when half of it was with Mullens as QB. The first receiver taken in the draft was Ruggs and he only has 4 receptions in 8 targets after 2 games with the Raiders who throw a lot. Lamb has been successful for Dallas so far but they've had to throw a lot too because their D is bad. Jeudy has been pretty good with Denver. We need to see a few games before deciding if Aiyuk can play. Once Kittle and Deebo are back the coverages will be different and Aiyuk might get open more.

It's good he finally got his beak wet. Shanny have more for him this week.
I like what they're doing......slowly but surely.

I can put together a clip of his man coverage snaps. I thought he didn't get much separation on vertical routes, but did on some in breaking routes. He got physical at the top of his route to create separation on those sharp breaking routes, which is good to see.
Deebo started slow last year so patience, on top of that no OTA's, rushed TC and he missed time

Totally. On top of not practicing the final two weeks of camp and having a new QB come in mid-game. Mullens got production out of rookie Pettis, maybe he can out of Aiyuk too.

Ruggs looks too fragile to me, AJ Jenkins like no thanks. I think Aiyuk has a better body type for press coverage and tight windows in the nfl.

But with his wingspan.......if he's covered one on one.....he's open
Ok he is good
