I agree with this idea 100. But, I think BA has considered BA enough for me to not give a s**t. He'll be fine, he made sure of it. Putting this team and fanbase through hell doesn't warrant a lot of sympathy.
I wouldn't wish injury on anyone, ever. But, I have difficulty feeling bad for this man. Pretty sure there was collective "f**k that guy" when he went down. That speaks to his selfish conduct, not our collective indifference.
im happy for him that he got paid. f**ked us in every way he possible could have, but at least he got paid.

oh damn I forgot about him. So here I am wondering how we can try a quick turnaround this offseason and if we should sell at the deadline, but the cap is f'ed regardless.

This FO has been so lucky and also great foresight of avoiding situations like this. This kind of signing and injury just highlights we are at the end of the road with this current core. Such a shame. BA will be back eventually and an integral part of the offense, but the Niners as a whole are down bad right now.

It was over when we lost the SB bro. No way they were going to be that healthy again.

I agree. BA and TW took the culture in the wrong direction this offseason.
I get the division is weak so we have a chance at the playoffs, but it feels like a fools wish to think we could beat KC or some of these other teams come championship time given what we have seen so far.
I don't even expect BA to be "himself" most of next season either. What a s**t show. I am hoping to see today the ACL is fine, its the mcl, but ... yeah right.

We def aren't beating lions, Vikings, packers, chiefs, ravens, Texans, even the redskins.

Dude it's football, don't take it personal. You don't know him and he doesn't know you.
he was a massive part of SF making it as far as they did last yr. Business is business they don't owe us anything. If people can't separate that stuff, then that's on them.
if folks say f**k that guy after getting hurt, who's out there getting destroyed every week for our entertainment. That says more about that person than BA imo.

I feel really bad for the guy but his whole process and the handling of everything just sucks. Now look at it. He wasn't even very good the games he in.
Really shows how much CMC is needed. The real super star of team and how underpaid he is and how he quietly goes about his business no flack, no crying, no holdout hold in.
Really annoyed this morning. What a crappy loss.

Brother, not everyone that disagrees with you is taking things personally. From a team building perspective, this situation was wrong from the get go. You don't see it that way because you were such a large supporter of BA and wanted him signed. You were wrong, plain and simple.
I was saying back then that players are signed based on potential, not past performance. His potential, and therefore his value, dipped every day he missed, every antic he pulled. And he admittedly made the process difficult on the team. None of that is personal.
Disagree with the post if you'd like. But calling people sensitive, hypocritical, or any of the other bad-faith arguments you've made in the past doesn't further your position.
he wasn't worth the contract. That was my stance then, certainly my stance now, and that's not even considering the fact that he won't play another down this year.

It sure feels that way right now. I still feel like this current core could make one last run at the super bowl before things come to an end

I don't care if you agree or disagree with me. Saying he put you and everyone else through hell…is a bit excessive. It's business nothing more or nothing else. My summer wasn't ruined because of him lol. I highly doubt yours was.
look if you don't feel bad that he wreaked his knee trying to make a play. That's fine. IMO that comes off as petty and not seeing the human side of stuff. But again you do you.
I see no problem calling out horrible emotional posts for what they are. I have no problem pointing out how hypocritical some folks are because they're so rooted into their narratives.
Look I don't claim to be right about everything, I know I'm not…If no one is allowed to call out misinformation and incredibly stupid/ignorant posts, then this place loses and sort of credibility…becoming another SM s**t fest of crap. I'd prefer that doesn't happen.
There's only a handful of players that are "worth" their contracts. Brock sure as s**t isn't worth $200M yet he will be the next man up there. That's just how it goes.

It's over bro. We just gotta come to grips with it. This was the last year to make that run in my opinion. And it's not happening this year.

I hear yah.....
I don't even know if we know what BA is.
This year, could have been BA being himself....we got a handful of outlier games that got him paid big time....there are enough "other" games to say...he is an average to slightly above average NFL WR.
I like BA, I want BA on the team....but if we are being honest...peak BA surrounded by all this talent is not even on par with peak Brandon Lloyd.
What do you do....your damned if you do, your damned if you don't. You want to surround your potential franchise QB with talent...so you pay the guy...
Was it a mistake? Maybe....but...not putting talent around Brock is also a mistake....
I hope the BA gets healthy, and in the long run ends up a better player for it. At least it pauses all the hate rolling in his direction, and gives him a bit of a clean slate to work with.

Ayiuk was not playing well anyways. Had too many drops. We can easily sign a new receiver who will play better for us when McCaffrey gets back. Ayiuk was a liability. Maybe this is a blessing in disguise. He also brought a toxic energy to this team because of the drama he caused.
