I'm still not convinced that BA wanted to/wants to be on this team. Sure his wallet is happy but BA's body language said the opposite. It was obvious that he wasn't into it in the least bit! When you play disinterested or half a$$ you are bound to get hurt. I hate to say this but it's true. There are three bits of silver lining to this injury:
1. A cancer has been removed from the locker room.
2. This will give Cowling and Pearsall opportunities to grow that they would not normally have.
3 The most important thing is akin to putting a misbehaving kid into the corner at school. This will allow BA to grow up and think about whether he wants to be a team player or not. Also, does he want to be a Niner?
Sometimes, things happen for a reason…
come on man, he just suffered major injury. let's have some class. no one is to blame for injury, he took a major hit. that's football.
Agree. And to be honest, this game was the first this year that I'd disagree about his body language being off…. He appeared to be "switched on" prior to the injury.
i hate the injury for him, the person. It's hard to root for the player right now though.
