Rely on the WRs you drafted in the 1st and 4th rounds? Look to add someone like Dionte Johnson or DeAndre Hopkins, both who are on teams that are going absolutely nowhere. They have some options.

Best case scenario is that Pearsall and Cowing both step up and become reliable playmakers.

Hoping we can have a little 97 magic where stokes and Owen's stepped up after rice went down.
So many doctors in here

Jennings was contributing more than BA anyways. Move him to number one, move Deebo to number two, and round it out with Pearsall and Cowing. Trade Bell for a bag of peanuts or appoint him as designated waterboy so he's forced to remain inactive on game days.

No one is trading for Bell.

I traded Bell in Madden. All I wanted was a 7th round pick in 2026 in return. The opposing team countered and asked for two 1st round picks and Bell for their 7th. I said okay!!!

my god I just saw Nick Chubb play yesterday after having some of the most gruesome knee injuries I've ever seen. Dude almost lost his leg last time.

overall it sucks and I feel for him as a human. Never want that s**t to happen to anyone.

yup, you got folks doing the sky is falling routine in all threads right now
Appreciate his skills, but with him out. Now brock won't feel the need to force feed him anymore.

Bowman was an All Pro after his knee injury. He was still one of the best LBs in football after coming back from it. It was the torn Achilles in 2016 that ended his career really.

The achilles finished him off, but he was already falling off a cliff in 2015 defending the pass. I remember thinking that he basically earned that all-pro based on his name and collecting a ton of tackles on an awful defense with no talent.

"The 49er was actually still very good against the run in 2015; he led all linebackers in both tackles and stops by a significant margin, but his play fell away in coverage, where he allowed 90.3 percent of passes thrown his way to be caught and a passer rating of 110.9 when targeted. Bowman at his best was a complete linebacker, but the player of 2015 was far more one-dimensional. If he rediscovers the rest of his play this year, he will jump back onto the list."

That what i remembered. Having a ton of tackles on a depleted defense gave him that all-pro nod.

Yep, that's how I remember it as well.
We have Terique Owen's and Trent Taylor on the practice squad. Bring back Terrence Marshall and let see what all they can do..
Dude is really done for 2 years, you know he won't be back to 100 percent even if he is back next year. We got royally screwed in this deal
Should have traded him...But hindsight is 20-20.

Yeah but Aiyuk woulda been screwed if he didn't get this deal. I wasn't a huge fan of resigning him and was ok if we traded him. Buuuuut this is exactly why players want to play with the security of a long term deal. Sucks but it's football. Now while Aiyuk is laying maybe he can work on them hands.

He was averaging 6 and change targets a game, FYI.

yeah and this is Bowman. he was built like a truck and was slamming into ppl all game. meanwhile BA is 26 and a WR. i don't think we can just assume the same outcome on two different guys.
Yeah, and I would argue Aiyuks leg are more important to his success. Bowman was arguably the best LB at the time of his injury. And his drop was significant. Aiyuks on his best days is what near top 10. We'll see what type of drop he has.
Acl and mcl with other damage? Oooof.
