ooo yup you're totally right. What a game that was.

Lynch fumbled the next play and we damn near broke away with a return.

Definitely a classic game even with a painful result, lol.

Classic harbaugh vs carroll
Can you just think for a second how much we exactly lost between Brandon Aiyuk and Trey Lance. Unbelievable. 3 first round picks and 100 million down the drain. Super bowl window closed. See you guys in 10 years. And if you don't think so, the last time I posted on here was 2012 I believe. The heartbreaks with this team. Just too much.

Wish he got hurt last year before the insane and undeserved contract

What a horrible thing to say. Take some time off to chill...don't hurry back.

I mean this is the sane poster who has wished death upon players after they did poorly

Welp he's probably done here, this is going to be a multiyear recovery. Hopefully he gets back to close to what his potential would have been one day unfortunately this team is going to be paying for it with the same mistakes it's made with other resigning. Kyle is certainly no Walsh

Sucks, it looked bad it and it was. Pretty classless posts on here too. But nothing new there I guess lol. This fan base is kinda meh.
David Lombardi said pro football fans are the worst fans of all pro sports.

That may be an overreaction. However, there are some fans, many repeat offenders, who fit that mold.

This is a man's livelihood and what he's worked so hard for, totally sucks. It's why NFL stars hold out, in case of things like this. Scary it's more than a ACL/MCL I wonder what else it could be. He may never be the same forget just about playing football. Hopefully he has a full recovery. 🙏

Not sure this will actually affect BAs livelihood in the slightest. He's likely to be healthy at exactly the right time to negotiate his next contract.

injuries suck, but this about as fortunate as it gets for a guy in his position. Broken knee two months after negotiating a long contract….. imagine if we made him play on his 5th year….

he's blessed as much as anyone with a broken knee could be is all I'm saying

Who's to say he will be able to play again or even get a great next contract. These guys work so hard to make it to the NFL. while I was out playing music and hanging out with women (high school) age he was at the gym working out and practicing. He perfected his craft and was on the way to being great.

Thank God he got his guaranteed money. I doubt his next contract will be this good. He may never be the same and it may take 2 years to come back. In the third year of his contract he may be a good reciever but maybe not as good as he was. That was a serious injury.

I don't care that he got his bag...I don't like how he went about it but that's my opinion.
Bring back DANNY !!!
Terrible news for Aiyuk. Hopefully he can bounce back, but this is career threatening.

As for the Niners - they will have to get the young guys up to speed and possibly make a couple acquisitions. Fingers crossed!

In the event that Aiyuk cannot come back from this injury, anyone know the amount of guaranteed money he got in his contract? He may not be able to make a substantial contribution at his prior level for a couple of years, if at all. Ugg.
His contract was designed for him to be cut (or restructured) after 2026. Through 2026, we're on the hook for about $40M or so.

His career is likely over. He had declined immensely before the injury, he ain't coming back.

I don't think we know that yet. Have to see what they say after surgery, but I would consider next season lost. If he can recover 100% it will take him time to acclimate. So 2026 would be the year hoping his recovery is 100%. s**t happens and nobody's fault. I did have a bad feeling about this entire deal so yeah its horrible financially, but it is what it is.
