He couldn't do anything with all the other stars out. Ceedee and Chase can. Because they are true #1's. He never was.

Well, disagree with everything you say here. You don't know if he will ever be the same. As to the rest, as usual there is no point in arguing with you. You take the worst possible line and when proved wrong you duck out until it is forgotten.

Damn you can see how much he's hurting. Seems he might want this to be a helpful distraction along the way through this long recovery. I don't know how often he will do this, because it might be too much for him to watch yet still present. Glad he's trying. Just updates, and praising teammates after wins might be enough. As well as other players in the league he respects.

I feel bad for the young man. I hope he comes back 100.

49er fans should support 49ers
just like you supported jimmy
I wasn't saying hateful s**t about Jimmy ever. I just said he wasn't good and they needed to move on from him after giving him years of play. I said they should have cut him when he had zero gtd cash left. Turns out I was right.
people got all butt hurt in here because he held out to get paid. They said he should take whatever and be lucky or he should play out his 5th yr option. Good thing for him he DID hold out.

It's not impossible to come back from. But it is a long process. I continue to hope he can recover fully and have a long, successful career and help us win championships.

Anybody watches that and doesn't feel a big twang of sympathy - I don't know what's up. He looks hit hard.
Let's hope he can get back on track in time. Regardless of whatever else there is to say - we are better with him out there.

It's easy as fans to get caught up in the emotions of games, but can't let that make you forget that these guys are people too.
So I agree, definitely have to sympathize and hope nothing but the best in recovery.

He seems like a good guy. I wish this injury didn't happen to him. It has to be awful but honestly it is good it happened after he got paid. For him personally, at least he knows he got his second contract and didn't get hurt on his rookie deal. Can you imagine what he would have been paid if he got hurt last year? Probably would have taken a 10 to 15 million one-year prove it deal or something.

I feel bad for the guy, but called it. Preseason is super important. Missing it but still trying to perform at an elite level= injury nearly every time for anyone not a lineman. This fan still holds a grudge for his ahole behavior in the off especially for the time his ass should have been in camp.

He was useless this year.

really?
I'll be honest....I have seen better....I don't think it was really insightful. Once I figure out what he was doing....I perked right up....a 49er insider about to break things down....I was thinking it would be more technical than it was. I was thinking we would get a glimpse of rout tree triggers, progressions, landmark expectations...it ended up a brief cheer leading film...
Side note...I hope this is a weekly thing....since we might get more information the longer this goes on....but...he seems depressed, that does not make for a really magnetic must see vlog.

That injury had nothing to do with missing pre season.
