1st, why in the world would Cinci take Pettis/breida for AJ?
2nd, SF didn't have a 3rd last draft (traded for Sanders) and doesn't have one this yr (traded for Williams). They also weren't taking on AJ's $18M tag number this yr

Imagine if we had Samuel, Sanders, Aiyuk, Kittle, Reed, Mostert, McKinnon, and Juice here in San Francisco. Sanders wouldn't have to deal with 5 yard passes every play!

What's your fascination with Green anymore lol? He's a shell of his former self and he's lost any speed that he once had.

Anyone is more useful than Pettis but that doesn't mean we should be sending good draft capital for him.
Pettis is basically a ST player at this point.

Thank you. I love it when fans want to trade guys that can't produce for us for a player that has or is producing at a fairly high level. Like every other team is willing to take our castoffs and give u a good player.

Originally posted by NYniner85:i still think they would want more. lol.. but yes.. that trade makes sense for both teams. of course i thought jenkins for jon baldwin made sense and i thought baldwin would take off for us

Joshua jackson has played in 7 defensive snaps so far this yr...he's literally a backup DB who plays STs same as Pettis depth player who plays ST.

And I bet packers fans would say I bet SF would want more lol
I mean these sort of trades don't really change much of anything most of the time...highly doubt it ever happens.

Yep, about like when we traded AJ Jenkins for that other receiver from the chiefs. One scrub for another, so to speak.
