New #49ers WR Brandon Aiyuk isn't that tall (6-0) but he has a 40-inch vertical leap and an 81-inch wingspan. For context, former Calvin Johnson was 6-5 and had an 82-inch wingspan. Aiyuk says those two things help him "play above the rim."

In the superbowl and playoffs we played only 3 WR's
E Sanders = gone
Bourne = UDFA who is average slow WR
Which left us with only one sure thing very good WR = Deebo
The rest of the WR's have major injury concerns (Hurd, Taylor) or are soft (Pettis) or slow (Bourne)
We don't have very good depth unless we get lucky and Hurd / Taylor recover well of Pettis takes some steroids

Play-action & RPO in Shanahan's offense. Slants, glance routes. Get north in a hurry after the catch. YAC. pic.twitter.com/IxBJaeJHb3
Guy is perfect for Shanahan's offense
i bet kyle and herm had nice long convos
Was that a shoe that came off at the end?
He gains a tactical advantage by leaving his shoes loose.

Yeah. He's the best YAC WR in the entire draft.

He better be a lot better.
We gave up #31, #117 #176 for him
kid, don't be such a Debbie Downer, man.
Just the facts. Can you handle the truth?
I'm all for the trade, but we gave up a lot.
I would give up a 2021 pick to get back into this draft
Gave up a lot? We gave up a 4th and a 7th. That's giving up too much?

You are dreaming, maybe Ruggs catches that ball that was overthrown by 4-5 yards. But not Aiyuk

Yeah we gave up picks for players who would never make it past training camp on this roster. Oh the tragedy.

There it is.
Kyle Shanahan said he loved Brandon Aiyuk. He shows on tape that he can run every route — outside the numbers and inside the numbers. He can play all there receiver spots. Speed to get outside over the top. Quickness for slot and toughness to go over the middle.

ShannyLynch are better in the the 5th rd and with UDFAs. who cares about a 4th and 7th. Lynch doesnt care if youre bored for the rest of the draft.

He's salivating.
"He has on tape that he can run every single route. I love Aiyuk." #49ers Kyle Shanahan on Brandon Aiyuk

I think it was a 4th and a late 5th, but I'm not worried either way.
