WTF, even Lynch said that there are starters in the 5th rd. This is a great year to get some depth in case of injuries, which happen EVERY year

Haha... yes there are starters in every round every year. Probably an eventual pro-bowler in every round every year. Doubt Lynch thought it was a profound utterance.

What's the joke? Anyone who knows football can see that there are excellent WR's 20+ deep in this draft. There will be several starters from the 4th and 5th rd.

So according to you only high picks are worth anything, (guys like Solomon and Reuben Foster and Dante Pettis)
But mid round and late picks are trash like Fred Warner and Kittle, DJ Jones, Dre Greenlaw, Mosely, etc etc

This is the best WR draft ever and excellent players (starters) will be available in rd 5, and also some very good prospects at OL and others

If starters will be available in round 5 why did we give up 3 picks for one ?

because Kyle wanted HIS guy. not just any starter. and we didnt give up three.

ShannyLynch are better in the the 5th rd and with UDFAs. who cares about a 4th and 7th. Lynch doesnt care if youre bored for the rest of the draft.

Yeah, I was more crushed we gave a 5th away. That's our money round!

It was a 7th not a 5th.

What? They gave up #117 (4th rd) and #176 (5th rd) to move up 6 spots

Trade a 2021 4th for a 2020 5th!

And draft a guard or Gibson or Lynn Bowden.

I thought we traded our 4th and 5th?

It was. 114 (4th) and 176 (5th).

Where are you getting that from? The original reports said pick 117 (4th round) and 176 (5th round). Did that change?

You might be right it was a 5th. Still not too bad considering a 5th probably won't even make the roster.

What excellent starters do you think will be available in round 5?

Shanalynch in the 5th so far:

2017 - Kittle, Taylor
2018 - Reed
2019 - Greenlaw

All currently on the roster. That's Shanalynch's money late round.

Ah damnit! We should have pulled a reverse-Ditka! Trade everything to completely own the 5th, every pick. Where is my draft calculator?
