Shanalynch in the 5th so far:

2017 - Kittle, Taylor
2018 - Reed
2019 - Greenlaw

All currently on the roster. That's Shanalynch's money late round.

Yep. I still think it was worth it - if we found someone to take Sanders production.

I agree

I bet he's always tired: hands on hips.

What excellent starters do you think will be available in round 5?

Kittle was a 5th

He's an exception. That doesn't happen often. You're acting like it's a fact that there's excellent starters in this draft in the 5th round. Yes it's a deep WR class but that's still only about 10 players that are worthy of going in the top 2 rounds.

Trade 7 and 6 to get a 5th? That way have two 5ths-though probably value chart don't jive.

That has got to make some people feel pretty good about this draft right? Kyle got the WR he rated the highest. If you told people before this draft happened that we came out of it with Kinlaw and The highest rated WR on Kyles board, I think everyone would have been pretty excited about that.

I mean, Kyle was raving about Pettis too two years ago. And there's that infamous Joe Williams story.

Pettis 2.0

If we are using software versioning rules, Aiyuk is Kyle's 1.0 and Pettis was the Beta.

So Pettis is like Microsoft Vista?

Why are they so in love with short smurfs? They just love these under 6'0" WR'S. You can't have 1 WR who is tall on the whole team?

Yes it would be nice to have a few more draft picks and one WR over 6' tall!!!

I agree.

You guys not heard of Jalen Hurd?

What I think Kyle and Lynch learned from those 2 is their love of football and if they have that dog in them. You can't go off just skill these days, a lot of these guys have talent that's why you get drafted in the first place it's their desire to get better every day like Kyle states each time. You have to interview these guys hard, Williams quit on the team that's why Lynch had it right and had him off the board that was a red flag. Pettis is just soft, just something off he's too passive obviously he has talent because he showed it his rookie year

"He's (5-11½) but he's got an 80-inch wingspan, which is so disproportionately long for his body, so he's really a big target for a smaller guy," one scout said. "He has ranginess to him, yet he's compact enough where his change of direction is great. He's really explosive on tape. Even going back to his junior year, he only had 33 catches but just grading the flash plays he was better than N'Keal Harry." He caught 65 balls as a senior, finishing with 98 for 1,666 (17.0) ands 11 TDs. "The first three or four games this year it was kind of whatever," said another scout. "Then something clicked and he really turned it on. Their offensive line was horrible, so a lot of his deep routes didn't really have time to develop because the quarterback (freshman Jayden Daniels) had to get the ball out. He became that quarterback's best friend. He's underrated. Early on, he comes in as your No. 1 punt returner and kickoff guy." He has a Wonderlic score of 23. "Explosive with a 40-inch vert, excellent route runner, quickness," said a third scout. "You could compare Greg Jennings to him. He's better than Nelson Agholor." From Reno, Nev.

The numbers flashed NFL network were different. Wing span was actually 81," megatron was 6'5" with 82"

Alabama's Jerry Jeudy is averaging 12.8 yards per catch this season. USC's Michael Pittman averages 13.5 yards per catch.

Arizona State's Brandon Aiyuk averages 13.6 yards – but not per catch. He is averaging 13.6 yards after the catch.
Senior year-18.3 yards per catch

"My background is at running back," Aiyuk said. "It's like being a back again after the catch. I think it's the strength of my game and it really makes a difference."

Aiyuk (6-foot, 203 pounds) Ran a 4.5 at the combine but seems much faster, rarely being caught from behind.
I'm not good at Photshop at all. Hell, I don't even have it.

But, I respectfully put a request (for the Photoshop Thread so as to resurrect it) a pic of Aiyuk with Condor Wings.

The CALIFORNIA CONDOR

And, as a vulture, he feeds upon the carcasses of burned DBs

For the photoshop, maybe don't replace his arms with the wings but rather have them come out of his back with his arms ready to catch a ball. Like Hawkeye from from the Marvel Comics. Or like Archangel Gabriel. Or like the REM video losing my religion.

A nod to endangered species and religion at the same time. Very powerful references.

He ran a 4.5, but ran hurt. He's a 4.45 guy when healthy.
