Also, that's assuming our "intel" about Miami is correct. Nobody knows anything. It's gambling.

You're basing things off your draft guide and assuming that the team had all those guys ranked about the same when its possible that the team had 3rd round grades on both of them.

If there's anything I've noticed from the limited film that I've seen, he's good at tracking the imperfectly thrown deep ball which IMHO is a Jimmy specialty.

His Go Go Gadget arms will allow him to reel in a lot of errantly thrown passes.

Lol. People just make stuff up
He runs smooth routes and plays the ball well. He looks like a pure hands snatcher. No apparent injury concerns and seems durable enough. I like the player.

He snags that ball out of the air pretty good.

MIA was a possibility to select Aiyuk. As soon as Aiyuk was selected, MIA traded out of #26.

DUDE...maybe Kyle didn't like Mims or Pittman. Unreal the takes on here.

I was in love with Ruggs but said first and foremost I wanted Kyle to get who HE wanted...who HE had highest on his board at WR. And if that was Aiyuk I'm STOKED they were aggressive to trade up and make sure they got who HE was high on and not settle for Mims/Pittman.

The reality is that there is not much talent room between 25 and 31. Moving up six spots doesn't make it a reach. Plus, if the pick you give up is likely to be a guy competing for a ST slot, what have you really lost?

you said he had the best release in the draft which down right wrong. NFL CBs are gonna get their hands on him at the LOS this isn't Washington State. He needs to improve there.

Please show me all the amazing contested catches he made...he's not physical in regards to going up and getting it and battling with a DBs. He's not like Deebo/Lamb in that regard.

People were constantly comparing Ruggs to Tyreek Hill. That is a bad comparison. Hill has a QB that can throw the ball 70 yards on a line. Garappolo can't do that. Not many can. Ruggs' speed would be largely wasted on the 49ers compared to what he might do in KC.
It's hard to justify aggressive trade-up for a guy who is 5'11. NOBODY had him WR5 or lower. Kyle may have loved him as a scheme fit, but he's not really a WR1 type stud in any way. Not sure anyone was in this draft, which is why they all fell after 15 despite their agents paying SI for a cover etc. No Julio Jones's, Dez Bryant, Megatron.

ya, he's a another gadget type WR. i think he's gonna be pretty decent, maybe even good, but it's hard justifying trading up for him when we barely have any picks. him and Kinlaw better turn out to be real good players.

Gadget WR?

He wins on the outside regularly. That's straight from Shanahan.
