Except Aiyuk is still making plays when he gets targetted. The two catches he made against the Cards nobody else on this team makes. He had the one drop in the endzone vs the Packers but other than that he has caught everything catchable that has been thrown his way. And I have seen many other plays where he was open but wasn't getting the ball. He is just not being targetted. Kyle needs to stop limiting his snaps because even an average Aiyuk is much better than Sanu and anybody else that is not named Deebo. Having Sanu and Benjamin taking snaps away from Aiyuk is a fireable offense.

Aiyuk makes that 3rd down catch Sanu dropped.

Aiyuk hasn't shown a lack of urgency on the field. This is Kyle and his weird way of trying to break players.

I'm still thinking the dude isn't doing everything he can to be a better professional. If he's late to team meetings, doesn't put the effort into prep and practice what should we expect. His talent is good, but it's not superstar where he can do as he pleases. The team isn't throwing him under the bus, they just want him to be part of the program.

Kyle doesn't have the winning resume to be able to take hard stances with his best players. He needs to win. And I am sorry but Aiyuk is more valuable than Kyle Shanahan. Now if Kyle had the Belichick resume I would feel different perhaps.

And he is the reason we lost the SB. All he had to do was keep running the ball. It wasn't that difficult. And if Aiyuk is a scrub, Who's fault is that? Kyle drafted him. Traded up for him and even said he was his #1 WR on the board. Even over Lamb and Jeudy. Kyle being petty with these players only makes him look bad because these are his draft picks.

Did Aiyuk get the COVID vaccine? Maybe Kyle's handling of him is related to that? I recall reading that he was one of the players who hadn't been vaccinated but that was several months ago.
