Wait so, it's Kyle's fault that Aiyuk isn't performing on the field because he isn't scheming things up for him, but Aiyuk is also more valuable than Kyle...that doesn't make sense

No but it's his fault he is not putting him on the field. He should be getting the same amount of snaps as Deebo. If Aiyuk is struggling abit you don't just decide to take snaps away from him. Let him work through it. Because the alternative is Sanu and he is sucks. If Niners have any chance at the playoffs they need Aiyuk.
You find ways to put the ball in the hands of your playmakers. That is what an offensive coordinator's job is.

Then that means you move Deebo to the SE and try and watch him beat man. BA has got to be more consistent in getting off the LOS it's a simple as that.

So he cannot catch screen passes, jet sweeps , quick slants, etc.? He must beat man coverage, down field, every snap? Nothing to quickly get the ball into his hands?

He has more snaps than any WR not named Deebo. He is on the field and getting plenty of snaps. I agree that Aiyuk should be used, schemed, and targeted more. I disagree with your comment about Aiyuk being more important than Kyle. He can't be more important than Kyle if his production is dependant on Kyle. The argument of not being on the field is simply false.

there are roles of WRs…there are positions. Flanker, split end, slot. SF runs 21 personnel (2 RBs, 1 TE, 2 WRs) more than any team in the league. That means there's a flanker (Deebo) and a split end (BA). The split end lines up on the LOS on the outside, he's the guy that's gotta deal with press (man) most times. You can't move him if he's on the LOS. Flanker can be moved pre-snap. He lines up on the same side as the TE.

BA's job is to win on the outside, much like a lot of other big time WRs. Those are the dudes that make the big bucks. They dictate the coverage teams use (man/zone) they push over coverage (bracket) which should help everyone else. That's not happening right now.

BA has played like 65% of the snaps (first two games were low). Kid has to play better, we shouldn't expect our 1st rd WR to have to get schemed open to have success. He's the SE and if you can do your job in a shanahan scheme you will put up massive stats.

Dude you still deal with man off the LOS on a slant.

so you want our 1st rd pick to be reduced to bubble screens and jet sweeps? You don't need to draft a WR at 25 overall to have a guy do that.

Why not want your WR1 to be able to get some separation? How about wanting him to win those 1 on 1s consistently? That helps everyone on the offense. He's not the flanker. He's the X and was drafted to be "the man" why is everyone giving him a pass and b***hing about the coach "not scheming him open"?

So weird. If a guy isn't playing well it's the coaches fault lol.

No. I don't want him to be reduced to anything but other players on the team get those looks. Also, there is film out there of this season of him getting open but the qb throwing the ball elsewhere or having to scramble because of the poor o line play. So no, its not all on him.

Not their fault he's struggling.. but It Is their fault they passed on other receivers for Aiyuk.

It's a lot that doesn't make sense. Sherfield was getting a push up the depth chart because they were happy with the way he performed in Training camp and Preseason. Now he's been a complete non factor since week one. Then Travis Benjamin gets a start the same week off being activated off the Practice squad when it's unclear if he even practiced with the first team offense leading up to the Cardinals game. I don't see a clear plan.

Just let Brandon play - he'll get his targets.
Shartinhishand is a petty little piss-ant tyrant, plain and simple
John Lynch says 49ers believe in Brandon Aiyuk but need more 'urgency' from receiver…..

How can he do that if he's not involved 100 percent sir. Brandon hang in there maybe next year we'll have a new head coach who knows WTF he is doing and maybe run a more traditional O.
