Yeah, he does look slower and less crisp in his routes than last year. Very disappointing I must say.

Women weaken legs rock!
I finally dropped him in fantasy It pained me to do so. He was just taking up a roster spot at this point.

Watch him start balling out now (which I won't be mad about)

Nice video, jd. I think it's easy to get into the train of thought that player progression is a steady upward trajectory. I hope that when he watches himself on tape, he understands why he isn't having the same success as he did last season. I still hate Lynch calling Aiyuk out in public, but players will respond to that differently. Hopefully Aiyuk isn't the type to sulk.

The most concerning part for me is both Lynch and Kyle have called him out publically now and that's usually a very last resort.

Maybe he deserves it (getting called out in public), I don't know, but I think that's a dangerous game to play. We can say that a player needs to put on his big boy pants and accept the tough love, just never know with players nowadays. Dangle the carrot or crack the whip?
Jonny, Eric Crocker just gave you some love on his morning show today for this video, just fyi

Yeah. You'd like to think though, that John Lynch having played at a high level in this league and playing with some real good players over the years and spending so much time in locker rooms that he'd have a good handle on a guy's mental makeup. I'm sure this is nothing Aiyuk hasn't heard and one thing we can appreciate about the organization is that they don't shy away from telling it how it is some times. They'll lay it out there and it is what it is.

Personally, I lead a team of people and I wouldn't do that unless I'd had multiple conversations with that person and I knew they were working hard and was putting out in a way to be honest but offer encouragement. It wasn't like they said, "well, he's just been a disappointment". They said, "he needs to take the next step" and talked about how much they believe in him and how hard of a worker he is.

I don't love it, understand it and don't hate that he said it.
