It's hard to justify aggressive trade-up for a guy who is 5'11. NOBODY had him WR5 or lower. Kyle may have loved him as a scheme fit, but he's not really a WR1 type stud in any way. Not sure anyone was in this draft, which is why they all fell after 15 despite their agents paying SI for a cover etc. No Julio Jones's, Dez Bryant, Megatron.

ya, he's a another gadget type WR. i think he's gonna be pretty decent, maybe even good, but it's hard justifying trading up for him when we barely have any picks. him and Kinlaw better turn out to be real good players.

Gadget WR?

He wins on the outside regularly. That's straight from Shanahan.

Yeah, gadget does not describe him at all IMO. He was the clear #1 target at asu, and he played all over the field. He can house call a bubble screen or torch your safeties deep. He makes you respect both, and I think Shanahan has an affinity for those types of guys.

No he does not dude... Jeudy's release off the LOS is the best in the draft class...complete fabrication with that comment

He does have the best release. Hes able to tap the back of any corners shoulder while in his stance while the corner is in off man coverage with his gogo gadget arms 10 yards away /s

He's got plenty of speed no one should be doubting that

He's 5'11". He's Marquise Goodwin with better hands. He is NOT and will never be Emmanuel Sanders. He's a vertical guy who will be targeted maybe 5-7 times a game. Reason being, if they use him regularly to move the sticks and poach between the hashes he will GET KILLED.

You shouldn't trade up on a guy who will be targeted a half dozen times MAX.

Hopefully I am wrong and he will work out and turn in to a regular piece if he adds 5-7 lbs and stays at 4.45.

I read his blocking was non existent (bleacher). True?

You can just admit that you've never watched a single snap of him playing. Its okay to admit that rather than going on a rant that is 99% nonsense.

Baloney. Kyle would get ruggs and space and watch him take it to the house. He ran routes that kyle loves to have his WR doing (slants/crossing).

It's dumb to even bring it up now he's not in SF

...but he won't do that with Aiyuk?? All Aiyuk does is get YAC. So tough. Plays big.

You don't really know much about him apparently.

I feel like hes got Aiyuk confused with somebody else? This dude has an 8 foot wingspan and is deadly after the catch, sounds soooooo much like Goodwin lol.

Yep. Aiyuk wasn't as hyped as the big school kids, so fans having a hard time disseminating fact and hype.

Dude it's such a bad take to say he's got the best release in the draft...let's stop with the homer talk.

He's a damn good WR, he's not the best getting of the LOS. Just isn't... Doesn't mean he can't improve. Yes he's got a massive wingspan, I wish he would actually use it more though. That was another knock on him, he would tend to let ball come into his body vs going up and getting it with his hands.

He's got things he can improve upon, it's not a horrible thing lol. I'm sure kyle will scheme up stuff for him this yr.

Like less than 30 seconds of watching tape would dispel this.

Lol seriously.

I don't think "gadget type WR" is a derogatory term. I could call Deebo a gadget type WR the way he was used last season. Kyle dialed up end arounds, shovel screens, bubble screens for Deebo. That's gadget-ish to me.
