No, he looked at him a bunch on designed plays that Aiyuk wasn't winning. He really stepped up his route running last game.

Yeah, he did step up his route running - you got all the tape, jonny - so I'm not going to argue about Jimmy not looking for him. Hopefully, they get it solved and Aiyuk can become a trusted target again.

They both seemed to get extra confidence in and from each other as the game progressed. That's good going forward.

Jimmy Johnson and Parcells did it. Personally I don't like it but there are different styles.

They knew whom to do it with. JJ had one set of rules for the team another for #88. I guess that is what coaching is all about, knowing which buttons to push.

I agree. Jimmy was a master psychologist as well as Bill Walsh. I don't like it because most coaches don't understand the human psyche well enough to push those buttons, but they try anyway.

I just don't think he likes to grind in practice.

Maybe he doesn't like the music being played in practice. Ever work out to crappy music? Can't do it.
Just throw him the damn ball! LOL. Idc about all this extra talk and speculation. Get the kid the rock

Why would you want him to pull down Aiyuk's pants?
That quote from Maiocco coincides with what I've been hearing from my source as well. Loafs in practice to the point where even teammates have taken exception. Who does Aiyuk hang out with from the team off the field? I'm not sure he has many friends in the org at this point, and it seems it stems from personality.

I chalk it up to being young, and as already stated, the cliche of needing to learn how to be a pro.
