Aiyuk!

Who heard Papa's game-winning TD call yesterday after the officials confirmed it?

Heard it this morning. Aiyuk… Aiyuk… Aiyuk is on FIRE!!!!!

Yes, that one, but also Papa's signature call, "Touuuuuuuchdowwwwwwn, San...Fran...cisco!!!" Although yesterday he elongated the "Touchdown" part quite a lot. Not as long as "Goooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooaaaaaaal" from that soccer announcer but definitely drawn out with enthusiasm given the moment.

100%. It looks like if we had worked in aiyuk more earlier on this season we'd have 1-2 more wins. Big difference maker at this point in the NFC.
Should continue to feast against Falcons DB's.

Easily 1-2 more wins. Sad that a coach wanting to teach a player a lesson takes priority over winning games. If he's the type of person who's mature and hard working (which he proved) he would of gotten there eventually without the limited playing time and being called out thru the media.

In retrospect, the o line, starting week 2, looked like crap in both the run blocking and pass blocking department. Aiyuk was also a weak link in the run blocking department. If you are running OZ, your WR's need to have that dog mentality.

It's no coicidence that when Aiyuk started blocking better that he began to see more targets. Not because he was in the doghouse per say but because Shanahan decided to fix the run blocking before the pass protection. Probably because when you can run the ball well, you can utilize play action and find yourself in less 3rd and long situations. Our run game was really hitting its stride up until Mitchell got hurt.

I imagine without the run game lately and being forced into more 3rd and long situations its no wonder the pass protection issues are starting to rear its ugly head again. But perhaps its a good thing. I think some of us are beginning to see the self scouting done by the coaching staff. If they can figure out how to block those stunts and blitzes, it will make us that much stronger of an offense. With the emergence of the pass game and how the ball is being spread around combined with when Mitchell comes back could be a recipe for oh s**t, the 49ers are back. Aiyuk will get those games back to showcase his skills in the playoffs.

At even 95% healthy I think we'd have a NFL Top 3 offense. Easy. Unfortunately we will stick around 50-60% of our roster fully healthy because of our FOs refusal to address our health an conditioning problem. So we may never see this teams an offenses full potential.

Huh? The only weeks he played less than 60% of the snaps were the first 2 weeks, and we won both.

Will never get the volume to be a "dominant" 1 - not with Deebo and Kittle getting a combined ~20 touches a game in a run heavy scheme. But he already has WR1 ability. He's the WR1 on most teams in the NFL. Including this one - considering Deebo is a OW.
Kid is playing good each week & is open way more than we actually throw to him
Glad to see guys like Aiyuk and Jennings contributing. Making more and more critical catches every week.
He's playing really well lately.
