On a day where John Taylor went into the ring of honor, I'd like to say I'm so glad we have two legit starting receivers. I don't think either will ever be in a position where both can can 75 + balls a game, but in our two starting receivers verses most starting corners in the NFL. I accept that we will be a run heavy team, but I'd love for us to show we can dominate on pure passing just because we can. I think we have the play markers and yes even the pass protection to kill opponents with the pass when the run game isn't working. Hope to continue to see more from Aiyuk.
Deebo and BA are a great 1-2 punch combo.

If Jennings can keep developing we'll be in excellent shape.
Not sure what defense the Falcons was in when Aiyuk caught that 36 yarder from Jimmy. Seems like Aiyuk was uncovered all the way through but he was 'covered'

Helluva call by Kyle.
I'm excited to see how Aiyuk does with Trey in the future. Trey seemed to have favored him today and I'm excited these two developing chemistry together.

He's a heck of a player - smooth with strong hands and comes through in the clutch.
Looking a little like Deebo breaking the initial tackle
He will see a lot more production with Trey as his quarterback. Trey is a more traditional passer, he can make the throws Jimmy struggles with most which ironically enough are the routes Aiyuk excels at... the 1 and 9 routes... the comeback, post, flag.
He's playing very good lately.
If he somehow pulled down that catch in the endzone in the first half, I've wouldve been like
Can't give this kid enough praise for the way he handled adversity early in the season. He got called out publicly by his HC and instead of getting in his feels, he owned up to it and put in the work to get better. He's got all the physical tools you could ask for and he blocks like his hairs on fire in the run game. Love it.
Still isn't getting the ball enough. Hope that changes with Trey

This.

I hope he keeps improving which will cause nightmares for our competitors.

It was a perfectly placed ball and Aiyuk kept his feet in bounds. Just needed a great one-handed to make it a TD. But overall, very promising!
What I like most about him is he's good at extending his arms for the catch. He's even better than deebo or kittle at using his full length to get the ball. He's a great security blanket even if he doesn't always set himself up for yac by extending.

A lot of buffer zone for the QB to make the throw in his catching arc.
