I hear you, but he played like crap in the preseason. Lots of drops and inconsistency. He got called out by Shanahan and has stepped up to the challenge. He's been playing great. But, I think it was natural for some to doubt early in the year based on his performance.

His rookie year made me give him the benefit of the doubt. We already saw the production and I don't know why, but I just felt that this was not another Dante Pettis situation. Seeing that Pettis isn't doing much in NY, it seems Kyle was right.
Same. I never thought Dante Pettis, but was alarmed at the camp he was having.

This. Burner and a blocker (TE).

Nah. This is just icing on the cake. Day 3 and UDFA type of stuff, although the blocking TE could be huge because the whole purpose is to relieve George Kittle of that load so he can be more of a pass catcher.

Maybe not at this point but Aiyuk has really turned it on in the second half of the season. Also, he already has chemistry with Trey. So by the end of next season even you may change your tune.

I already believe that YUCK is our best WR.. Deebo is a better weapon, but YUCK is more of a natural receiver...

I think that changes with Trey. Not to say we will throw deep with wreckless abandon but we will take deep shots more often.

He's starting to remind me of Antonio Brown BC.

There's going to be a lot more DBs scrambling to pick their ankles up off the field before he's done.
