Breakout or bust it's his 3rd year in the league and he needs to at the very least get a 1,000 yard season in the books or we need to start thinking of him as a #3 receiver.

He needs a minimum of 100 targets to legitimately have that expectation. We've seen that a lot of yards were left on the field by not targeting him. Aiyuk isn't the problem.

I'm very happy with Aiyuk. Considering we have Deebo and Kittle, and we only throw 25-30 times a game... as well as to our Fullback... I don't expect huge yardage totals for him week in, week out.

But he seems to be THE GUY that beats man coverage most consistently. With Lance at QB, I expect him to work the sidelines more and win those routes.

All of this, I think he will be in the conversation as a top 20 wide receiver next year as long as he gets the targets. It can be argued that he gets open more consistently than even Deebo and that's saying a lot, however he gets less attention and most of the times the lesser cb. We finally have 2 starting wr1's

I won't be surprised... no... I'm expecting Aiyuk to have a very good year next year, so long as Lance plays adequately.

For one, Aiyuk is training with Lance this offseason, so they should build up some trust/chemistry there.
Two, Deebo's going to command so much attention wherever he goes that Aiyuk should have a lot of opportunities.
Three, whenever Deebo's in at RB, essentially Aiyuk becomes the WR1 in those formations. Obviously, they probably have a play design in mind, but he'll get the ball in "conventional WR routes" in those formations with Deebo at RB.

I can easily see a big year for Aiyuk. Even if the catch totals are low, he could be averaging 16 to 18 ypc on like 45 to 60 receptions. I think Deebo as a receiver beats guys simply by wanting it more. Aiyuk on the other hand flat out beats guys by being open. That openness will probably make a young QB more likely to target Aiyuk. Deebo will get targets on the other hand because you expect him to win if it comes down to him verses a anybody.

every teams in the NFL draft a WR that can get deep, and KS10 really need to include some deep plays in his playbook even if it's not 3rd and 13..

Deebo is beating DBs up wearing em down as they don't know where he's going to line up. Aiyuk just waiting for us to get him the ball and we will this season
