According to Maiocco, he asked Deebo why he wasn't working out with Lance and Deebo said that he didn't want to come to California. He preferred staying in Carolina doing whatever. Assuming he gets the contract deal worked out, I don't want to hear him complain if Lance isn't throwing him the ball as much as he wants. If he really wanted to show how serious he is about getting better, he would be in California working out with Trey and the other receivers. QBs all tend to have their favorite receiver and it would be nice if they were working together developing chemistry.

He's no diva stop this carp and without proving it? What does he need to prove?
He had arguably the greatest WR rookie season for the franchise in an offense known for its complexity and difficulty to learn. He then got injured in the offseason getting ready for the season and likely rushed back to try to help us win games and then dealt with conditioning related issues all year. He finally realized he needs to do more to help his body recover and prep for the season and took the time to do that and had an amazing season for us.
He deserves to get paid. I wish he was out there working with Trey but it doesn't make him a diva any less than Kittle working out in Nashville and not being out there with Trey and the other WRs as well. These guys are all in different points in life. Deebo just had a baby, he's allowed to stay home to be with his family during the offseason. He better get his body right whether he comes back to the 49ers or we trade him because if he doesn't...any team who pays him will expect him to play like Deebo.
Now could it be that he's just looking to cash in and then coast? Maybe but I just don't see it with him. The guy is a competitor and he hates losing. That's why i don't believe his trade request is anything but wanting us to improve our offer.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but wasn't Deebo having issues with his weight and / or him being in shape after his second season? Which in turn caused some in organization to encourage him to be a better pro? If so, now we get this BS?

No one else is crying in the same situation as him.
Is he getting his way? No. Aka grow up and be patient.

Not really. Obviously they all want to get pay quickly and early but is it happening? Nope. Stop being entitled and patience is a virtue.

There are plenty of teams that are paying 2 receivers a lot of money and are able to keep them. I hope we do the same even if Jennings comes up big it doesn't matter. The Rams Tampa Bay Cardinals Seattle (soon) and a lot of other teams so we have to follow suit and keep the pressure on opposing defenses.

I'm not too worried about Deebo. He's going into a contract year. He's gonna ball or it is going to cost him a lot of money.
I still hope that he works something out with the 9ers for a contract that's middle ground. He gets a pay day and they get him at a discount based on this year's performance.
I really hope Aiyuk takes the leap this season. It'd be really nice to have a 1 2 punch at WR and have Kittle to shake things up.

Aiyuk will become our number 1 WR. As for Samuel, I bet you he plays this year out then gets traded next year to a east coast team.

Def, I was little shocked last year hearing he was on the dog house but glad to see him bounce back.
