Def, I was little shocked last year hearing he was on the dog house but glad to see him bounce back.

I actually think it's quite common around the league for guys that have some success in their rookie year. They come back thinking "they made it" and maybe don't work as hard or whatever the case may be; it's one reason why we always hear about that sophomore slump. In hindsight it seems as though Kyle recognized it early and while we were mad when it was going on; whatever he and our staff did seems to have worked and prevented him from continuing in that downward trajectory. It was well known how much Kyle freaking loved Aiyuk his draft year and I do also believe we see his best season yet coming up!!

Seems like Kyle uses the Doghouse to test the way a player responds and whether they need to put more draft capital in early round receivers. Pettis... fell flat, Aiyuk responded and now knows what it takes to be a starter. No one was drafted or signed to take over WR1 or WR2, with Pettis welp thats what led to Aiyuk.

Deebo too. The door was open to that dog house but he never made it inside but IIRC, he talked about how Kyle was on his ass too.

Kyle is a former WR so he probably subconsciously expects more and can detail why and how it should be done like no other position.

Aiyuk will become our number 1 WR. As for Samuel, I bet you he plays this year out then gets traded next year to a east coast team.

I've seen you post this another time recently. I just don't see a scenario where he steps foot on the field without an extension.

So if we don't give him a contract or a trade you thing he retires?

I'm saying that he doesn't have many options and I don't see him leaving that much money on the table and risk an injury. He will sign before the season starts

According to Maiocco, he asked Deebo why he wasn't working out with Lance and Deebo said that he didn't want to come to California. He preferred staying in Carolina doing whatever. Assuming he gets the contract deal worked out, I don't want to hear him complain if Lance isn't throwing him the ball as much as he wants. If he really wanted to show how serious he is about getting better, he would be in California working out with Trey and the other receivers. QBs all tend to have their favorite receiver and it would be nice if they were working together developing chemistry.

Entitled without proven it over time yet.. aka Diva.

Id say he had one good abd one great year. Either way. I'm not bothered by this. Not wanting to work out in Carolina is far better than trade me.
Is it me or is this dude bigger? His shoulders look massive for a WR

He's probably a little bigger from spending a few years in an NFL weight room, but he's had a wiery, muscular build. Aiyuk's shoulder girdle is crazy like a mini Dwight Howard.

No doubt he had the frame (wide shoulders) to get bigger...Looks like it's happening now lol.
if Lance can be as good as we hope that he can be, YUCK can be the next AB w/o the 'tude !!!

Do you think WR's need more loving and and attention than other positions? I'd like to believe we live in a world where everyone is an adult at that age, but that position brings out the worst in people sometimes.
